“Nice hotel”

I found that the hotel was in an excellent location for those people entering the city by rail or bus. Access to the trams/bus is excellent. The hotel was quite and very clean. A very enjoyable stay with helpful staff.

Literally right across the street from the train station. Good quality rooms, comfortable. Friendly service.

Staff was very helpful. I would not recomend the restaurant in the hotel for there are many great places a quick taxi ride away. Very fair price if you have a BG id card.

great value hotel beside bus and tram station,ideal for exploring all parts of sofia.about 1 mile away from centre which was no problem as taxis were cheap,be vary wary of some taxis as they will rip you off, ok taxis were the best.hotel had 24 hour service and security,the rooms were a bit dated but large and clean,breakfast was continental with not much choice so i ate out mostly.one night there was a disco /rave which was noisy and went on to 6am.not for light sleepers.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with spacious, modern rooms. The continental breakfast was pretty basic but adequate. The staff spoke English and was helpful with arranging for an early wake-up call and taxi to the airport. The train and bus terminals are just a short walk so convenient when traveling to other parts of the country. I would happily stay here again.

“Hotel offered just what I wanted”

Sofia Plaza is not deluxe but is convenient to bus and rail station and to the center of this wonderful city. Woman at desk was friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. She gave easy-to-follow directions to places I wished to visit, geve explanations for things that puzzled me--such as all banks being closed because of 4-day holiday. Food was good, nourishing, and authentic Bulgarian. Waitress was friendly, accomodating, and spoke enough English for me to communicate with her. After I left Plaza Sofia, I joined my tour group at a deluxe hotel where I could not afford even a cup of coffee. In addition, that hotel was far from the city center, requiring a hike even to a tram stop from which you could go to the sites you had traveled so far to see.

“Friendly staff, 10 min. to airport”

This is a very clean and friendly family run hotel. My room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was very helpful, provided a very early wake-up call and taxi to airport, and spoke great English. As with most places in Sofia, you will smell cig. smoke which Americans are no longer accustommed to, but the hotel is very clean and staff friendly. Great locale to airport and about 12 min. to downtown sites.

The hotel was clean , the staff were very helpful with any reuests or queries we had. The location is central with a taxi rank 200 metres away it is the ideal base for your break.

“Convinient Location”

This hotel is close to the railway station and the Central bus station.There is also a tram stop outside the hotel but the centre is within a walkable distance. The rooms are a good standard and comfortable.The breakfast is reasonable
