“Great hotel for downtown Sofia”

This is my second stay at this hotel. It is clean, comfortable and well-located for downtown Sofia restaurants and bars. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is not at all luxurious, and the breakfast choices are less extensive than Sofia's 5 star hotels, but it is considerably cheaper than they are. If you want luxury, pay more, but if you want value for money and a comfortable stay I can recommend the Kolikovski.

“Modern hotel in a great location”

This modern hotel is situated in a quiet street just off Vitosha Boulevard. A short walk away from the National Palace of Culture. Most of the cities main sights were within walking distance too. Its modern exterior makes it easy to locate. A taxi from the airport took about 20 minutes. The interior was stylish and clean. Reception staff were friendly and spoke good english. My room was clean, tidy and well furnished. The buffet breakfast was of good quality. I stayed here midweek for 3 nights and only saw one other guest, don't know if it's always this quiet.

“Kolikovski”

A medium sized hotel right in the heart of Sofia close to Vitousha Blv and NDC the Kolikovski offers all you would expect from a 4* hotel. The Kolikovski is well furbished, offers the usual ameinities and a small but well equiped gym, importantly, the staff are friendly and very helpful. On the downside; the TV has only one english language channel and there is no safe in the room, small things but a little disapointing. Overall a good hotel and well located, I would recommed this hotel and stay there again.

Area recommendations
Stay close to Vitousha Blv for the shopping, nightlife and resturants.

“Good hotel”

“clean, comfortable and central”

Lobby and restaurant were charming, room was more functional, but clean and quiet. REceptin desk staff were very heplful. Would definitely return.

“Boutique hotel near great shopping & attractions”

I booked this hotel after reading the good reviews given to their B'fast (it was true) - after Borovet's slopes I felt hearty food was needed. The hotel did not disapooint: all mod/comms, clean, stacks of toiletries, lovely staff who even took care of posting my cards. The only 'bad' point was the heating (a little too high) and their air con. being a little noisy (easily remedied by opening a window). And yes, B'fast was good (hot & cold buffet style). A comfortable hotel I would go back to without hesitation.

Traveller's tip
Clothes shopping's on your doorstep with Vitisha's Boulevard and the city's main attractions (the small Russian church is recommended) about 15 mins' walk. Not the liveliest town in Europe but if you like hearty food, walks and enjoying an easier pace of life for a couple of days - Sofia might just be for you.

“Hidden Gem”

Excellent central location. Hotel very clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. A pleasure to stay in.

“Gute Lage”

Ein sympatisches Hotel an guter Lage (nur wenige Schritte zum historischen Zentrum mit den Sehenswürdigkeiten). Auch für Geschäftsreisende zu empfehlen. Bequemes, modernes und sauberes Zimmer mit kostenlosem Wireless Internet. Einziges Manko: Fehlender Platz vor dem Hotel für Drop on - Drop off macht die ankunft und Abreise sehr mühsam.

“Très bonne adresse”

Hôtel très bien situé, à 2 mn du boulevard VITOSHA et des arrêts de bus et trolley sur le boulevard patriarch Evtimiy (aéroport : bus 64 et trolley 2). Chambre très propre, lumineuse, pratique et confortable. Petit déjeuner très correct. Personnel très accueillant, parlant français et anglais, disponible et donnant de très bons conseils. L'hôtel offre des possibilités d'excursions (voiture avec chauffeur) avec des prix raisonnables : 70 euros pour aller au monastère de RILA. Les taxis appelés par l'hôtel pour aller à l'aéroport offrent des prix de course très raisonnables 15 à 20 leva
