“As good if not better than some 5 stars we have stayed at.”

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel. The staff were outstanding in every way, professional, courteous and above all extremely helpful. We would recommend the hotel to anyone and indeed have done so already to our friends and colleagues. Our accommodation was clean and tidy. Overall we found it as good if not better than some 5 star hotels we have stayed at around the world. Keep up the good work, we loved your city.

“A good choice--”

I stayed twice--10 days apart. Small clean hotel in busy neighborhood with European feel. Staff was friendly and very helpful--windows shut out noise, I think--I used my earplugs just in case. Breakfast was good and convenient, but overpriced. Cozy restaurant, clean, I will return. Very close to churches, opera, museums. A good choice.

“Can't wait to go back”

This is a great little boutique hotel. It is very close to downtown Sofia. Staff are friendly. Internet works great. No balconies but windows open. Good cable TV with English stations. Breakfast is too expensive but lots of good resaturants nearby. Very safe neighborhood. I walked at night all the time. I will definitely stay again.

“A Great Hotel!”

I came to Sofia with my son for a football trip (CSKA v Fulham) and got much more for our money with this hotel. Our immediate impression of the young reception and porterage staff was one of professionalism, with good English to boot. We had a nice clean comfortable room with a good shower and TV and the hotel is bang in the middle of Sofia. One of the porters actually arranged for a local walking tour guide to collect us from the hotel, rather than the normal meeting place - and the hotel booked the tour for us too. Chambermaid service excellent with nice personal touches - we came back to find our beds made and Fulham shirts folded on the bed! A brilliant place to stay.

“Comfort in the city center”

The hotel location is ideal for seeing the sites and the staff were very helpful. It is small enough that not all taxi drivers know it, so it is good to bring the address along.

“Cozy, Convenient Hotel in Sofia”

The ARTE Hotel is a small hotel in a very central, convenient location in downtown Sofia. It is within walking distance of many beautiful churches, bustling markets, and shopping. My only wish would be for a separate, no-smoking section in the restaurant since Sofia as a whole is challenging for those with a sensitivity to tobacco smoke. But the nearby market in the Central Hall is non-smoker friendly and has lots of options for casual sampling of local cuisine.

“Right in the centre you can walk to all the sights.”

Small room but everything you need incl air conditioning. Very helpful staff but minimum staff at weekend. Breakfast extra but good value. Limited italian menu all day.
