“Nicky”

The hotel is good. I would not call it a health spa hotel if you have a cosmetic foot treatment you are sitting in the hal that is no good. the professionality of the people in the health club is also not the best. Customers do there best to speak English as dutch is not there first language and because of that they only have a limited amount of words to express them selfs but the health spa instructor does pretend he doesn't understand them this is not client friendly at all

“Standard business hotel in quiet surroundings. Slow check-in at night.”

I checked in late in the evening when some sort of conference party was going on down stairs. Because of this they were a bit down on staff at reception and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get de key to my room. Poor performance. Rooms were OK, on the larger side. Bathroom with separate shower and bath-tub. Standard Hilton business hotel. In the middle of the woods. Nearest motorway is about 10 minutes drive.

“A real treat”

This is a fine quality hotel. We booked early and got a good deal. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered an excellent choice. It's set in a rural setting amongst dunes. There are good walks and cycle rides (bike hire available) nearby.

Area recommendations

Amersfoort has some beautiful buildings and good shopping.

Getting around

Hire a bike - the local cycle tracks are excellent.

Dining

A lot of local restaurants do not take credit cards. Make sure you have cash. There's a good Italian restaurant in Soest.

“Great Location, Hard Beds”

Nice hotel with good staff and amenities (& free ample parking). Downsides include expensive internet and telephone fees, hard beds, and (shower) water that vacillates between hot and lukewarm.

“convenient and comfortable”

We found the staff the most helpful of any hotel we have stayed. Rooms seemed newly refurbished. We stayed using an expedia special rate of 2 nights on a second night free basis, so hotel was excellent value for money. Buffet Breakfast was included and even included a hot selection.

“4* hotel with pool and breakfast for budget hotel prices - FAB”

Great location for travel from ferry ports to Germany. Close to pretty Utrecht. Hotel reception was warm and welcoming, room was great, pool and gym were lovely. Kids loved breakfast with wide selection and chocolate on toast even if hot food could have been fresher. Very pleased with hotel overall and at the half price special offer deal through Expedia it was great value.

Take kids to Dick Bruna Haus in central Utrecht for iconic Miffy exhibition and shop.

“Lage des Hotels befindet sich in einer wunderschönen Parklandschaft”

Das Gesamtpaket stimmt. Sportliche aktivitäten kann man hier vielfätig nutzen, jedoch der Fitnessraum erst ab 16 Jahren zu nutzen ist, welches ich nicht als sinnvoll erachte. Zentraler Ausflugsort für viele Unternehmungen. Gutes, vielfältiges Frühstück. Leider spricht das Hotelpersonal kaum deutsch.

“Grosszügige Zimmer mit schoener Aussicht auf Golfplatz”

Wenn man zur Rückseite des Hotels wohnt, blickt man auf den Golfplatz. Dort wurde am Samstag Morgen schon um 6:45 Uhr Golf gespielt - dies hat uns nicht gestoert. Das Hotel verfügt über einen großen Pool, den wir leider nicht genutzt haben. Das Zimmer, das wir hatten, war sehr geräumig und verfügte über Badewanne und Dusche. Das Frühstücksbuffet war umfangreich. Der Frühstücksaal hatte Aussicht auf den Golfplatz. Vor dem Hotel ist ein großer Parkplatz (gratis - in den Niederlanden nicht selbstverständlich).

Schloß Zeist in Zeist. Ca. 15 Minuten Fahrzeit ab Hotel.
