The Staff were excellent and everything was generally clean and tidy apart from mould on the rafter of the bathroom ceiling. There were people staying in the room above us who were walking around the room and every step was transmitted because of very squeaky floor boards. This meant that we couldn’t get to sleep until about midnight when we were in bed ready to sleep at 10pm.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. We chose it as it seemed great value for money and it was a short drive from Windsor castle. We stayed in a superior family room. The bed was really comfy, the room was very well decorated and clean and felt very homey. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very quiet and the waitress couldn’t have been more attentive. I have a soya and milk allergy and the chef was very accommodating to that - adapting the menu to suit. Best beef burger I have had in a long time! Absolutely suburb breakfast too - a help yourself English breakfast with a lovely selection of fruit, meats, cheeses, cereal, pastries etc. They even offered and did me my own poached eggs on toast because I couldn’t have the scrambled egg. My husband said he really enjoyed the leisure club facilities too. All the rooms such as the bar area, afternoon tea room, restaurant and breakfast room are lovely rooms that keep to the historic feeling to the house but also feel fresh and modern. All the staff, such as the receptionist too, couldn’t have done enough for us and were really friendly. I would say though to avoid going down Egypt lane to get there - the other direction to the hotel is main roads and much easier and less perilous!

The Burnham Beeches Hotel is charming and cozy. It’s stately yet unpretentious. The hotel sits upon a beautiful property in Slough, away from the hustle and bustle, yet happens to be located minutes from the Elizabeth Line which conveniently and directly takes you into the heart of London in just a short time. The hotel’s rooms are meticulously kept with a high standard for cleanliness. The bathrooms and other hotel facilities are modern and bright. The daily breakfast was absolutely delicious and filling. The entire staff was professional, welcoming and helpful yet not intrusive. I plan to stay at the Burnham Beeches Hotel for all future visits - it’s my new favorite hotel!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Arrived at 10.00pm. Night Porter on duty at reception for check-in and he was not properly trained to take Cash payments. Hotel only had a few guests, but we were allocated a room on 2nd floor and lift was not working. Plenty of rooms available on ground or first floors, so very unhappy at having to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Bad nights sleep due to heavy rain on sky-light windows. Fire alarm went of at 08.45, allegedly set by smoke in kitchens. Returned to room after breakfast and electrics did not work. Reported to reception, who sent an electrician, who was unable to resolve matter, so had to pack up cases with no light, room was very dark due to being in the attic. Complained at reception when checking out and receptionist was polite and helpful, but had to keep going and talking to manager in a back office, who NEVER came out to deal with the matter. She just sat in her office and negotiated compensation via Receptionist. Clearly manager is an IDLE person, who should not be paid for the job she IS'NT doing. WE WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS HOTEL.

1 night stop over
a 1-night stop before an early flight out of Heathrow the next morning. Great hotel, friendly staff, I mainly stayed here as it was England's Euro '96 team Hotel! Only downside was the leisure club was closed on that day, but that cant be helped.

Nice but in need of investment
When checking in we had an extremely polite, friendly and charming member of staff. Made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The room was very nice, a bit warm but fortunately the air conditioning in the room soon sorted that. The only disappointing thing was the spa, as the changing rooms, pool and sauna wee very tired and grubby. Two of the three showers also didnt work properly,

Very beautiful setting. Friendly staff and very clean. Very goodbreakfast. Croissants were very good. No wifi in the room unless you upgrade. Spa a litlle oldish but clean. No shower nearby the pool or sauna. Must go back and forth to changing room to do so. We had a very good stay and will come back.

Room I was given had little to no phone signal and little to no WiFi bars, meaning it kept dropping off and it took me twice as long to finish off my work for the day. The room was also hotter than the sun, with a window that barely opened. Whilst a fan was in the room, no plug sockets were by the bed meaning the fan had to be miles away, with little benefit provided. Pool and gym were very dated and very limited and no towels provided from what I could see so first time I used it I had to go back wet, second time I had to take a towel from the room. No bags for swimwear either.

Perfect one year anniversary night.
It was our anniversary night and the hotel staff decorated our room so nice! My wife was very happy. The services and staff were all excellent. We really enjoyed the leisure centre especially the hot tub. One improvement would be to have a fridge in the rooms and an AC. It gets very warm in the rooms in the Summer.

I had a wonderful stay at Burnham beeches hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful, patient and accommodating. I stayed in a superior room and I'd recommend this room over the Classic and Georgian rooms in the other side of the building. My room was spacious, airy, bright, clean and the bed was comfortable. Good amenities - toiletries and snacks were provided too. The food was good quality - fresh, tasty and reasonably priced (although I thought the dessert was a expensive for the portion). The breakfast was of high quality and was tasty overall (eggs made to order) It was pretty accessible if driving or taking a taxi from Burnham station (it costs around £6). Overall the hotel could do with a refresh (e.g., a coat of paint and a carpet clean) in certain areas but my room itself was very clean. Don't let first appearances put you off as parts of the building look a little tired in places but overall it is a nice hotel and I had a lovely stay. All the staff were lovely - especially Cheryl (MVP), Ian and Lucie and eager to help you in whichever way they can. One of the better hotels in the area and I would definitely return for another stay. Relatives stayed in nearby hotels and they were less than positive about their stay so I'd recommend over some of their main competitors. No shops nearby so bring these with you or stop off at the local Tesco on your way.

Stayed here two nights. Expecting better to be honest for 4 stars, everything a bit tired, could do with coat of paint, TLC, modernising. Dinner was nice enough staff need a little more training though. Pool area needs updating. Breakfast was fine, nothing special but fine. Could be made to order to make hotter.
