Before flying hom to Barcelona, i treated my friend a wonderful and relaxing day in the Palace. I just got him out of hospital and the staff at the reception was very helpful with providing us a room before check in time so he could have a rest. The stay in the hotel was super! One small detail: we had to call housekeeping because we couldn't find the switch of the light on top of the cubboard. And neither could they! We just disconnected the lamp!
This lovely newly renovated Palazzo, has a small number of suites providing potential for a hideaway retreat from the large hotels of Malta. Our suite (Prince Charles) was roomy and had an outside terrace. Palazzo Capua is now owned by The Palace Hotel (a five minute walk away for breakfast) and the taxi needs to leave you there to check in. Unfortunately, the management, whilst very polite, have designed their rooms without any thought to their paying guests. There's a kettle but you'll need to put it on the floor to use it as the flex is too short to reach the socket, a phone that can't get an outside line or call the hotel reception, a trouser press that you'll need to carry around the room to plug in, an en suite you'll need to walk down some precarious steel steps to get to in the middle of the night, a bathroom door that doesn't actually close as the catch has been fitted upside down and two large TVs for which you'll have to share a remote control with the suite next door. If you want extra towels or your bed making with a blanket, be prepared to ask every single day of your stay as just because its provided today, doesn't mean you can have it tomorrow. And if you want a light bulb for the bedside light, be prepared to wait 8 hours and complain to the manager. If all this sounds like more work that you intend on your holiday, you might consider a different venue - we certainly would.
Just returned from a week at Victoria hotel.very relaxing stay ,with good food, and facilities.Staff could not be more helpful, nothing too much trouble.Prices for food and drinks very reasonable.Refurbishment to some of the bedrooms due to take place, will make this hotel a perfect.4star.

First time I visited Malta for a holiday. Sliema was a good location, and the hotel is in the middle of the place. A very good breakfast before visiting so many parts of the island. A good bus location.
I would absolutely stay here again! Great location with pools, restaurants, cafes & the coastal walk all at your doorstep. The hotel facilities are excellent & the room was huge & clean. Unfortunately we booked an ocean view room but had a view of the surrounding apartments instead. The only other thing I would recommend is upgrading bathroom conveniences as it felt like a motel, but everything else was great.
The apartment had plenty of space for two or more people. Stunning water views, also had a small kitchenette with a bar fridge. Travelling around Malta was no problem at all as the bus stop is at the front of the building. Cafe down stairs is nice also for a snack. Perfect location with a huge balcony. Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was very clean and I had no issues at all. Plenty of restaurants around as well. i would come back for sure and stay there again.
"Excellant location , central for everywhere. Has e"
Amazing varied selection of food. Staff welcoming and extremely helpful. Love the check out were you can spend the day waiting to go home and go back to the hotel to shower and freshen up before travelling. First class service fivestar rate without a doubt.
