Decent hotel, handy for the old town, modern city and bus/railway stations. Staff are helpful and speak excellent English. Breakfast is pretty decent. Shower slow to warm up but otherwise fine. Wifi good. Some street noise but not too bad. Would happily stay here again.

Excellent location in the most interesting neighbourhood, near the fort and also the stone bridge. Very friendly and helpful service. Dinner in the restaurant downstairs was excellent value and very tasty. Comfortable room and lovely hot and powerful shower.

Night on the floor
Our plane was delayed so it appeared that they gave our room away, and my husband spent the 1st night on a deflating air mattress on the floor. We were not given a discount for this. They gave us a much nicer room on day 2, also did free laundry. Staff were very nice, I was bitten by one of the many feral dogs that roam skopje, they were very concerned and organised a taxi to take me to the hospital.

Perfect location. Near old town, macedonia square.
Breakfast is superb. The best about Super 8 hotel is the front desk ladies, especially Natasha. Natasha was so helpful and she showed so much concern when we faced with a problem. Natasha is the best receptionist I ever come across.Thank you Natasha.

Good service, good location, good breakfast
Service was spectacular, as was location. The breakfast was the best part! It was abundant and varied. All the food was quite good. The room left a bit to be desired, but at the price I paid, it was more than adequate.

Great location fantastic staff
The location is good but the staff go out if their way to make your stay perfect. I needed laundry done and they stayed late to fonifbefire we left early the next day. Then didn't charge us for it. Bathroom not awesome otherwise great

Great location for the sightseeing
So close to the Old Bazaar for great local eating for the best prices. The stone bridge, fort and river front are so close for exploring. The front desk staff were so helpful with local information and bus schedules. The breakfast selection was varied, local and fresh. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay
Had a great stay at Hotel Super 8, initially only booked for 2 night but ended up staying for 5 as it was such a pleasant experience. Can't compliment the staff enough for how friendly they were, the breakfast was spectacular, you can't get much better value for your money

Modest room, but, sumptuous breakfast buffet- amazing choices, great variety! Very centrally located to all the main attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff- service always with a smile :-) They even prepared me a breakfast box when I had to catch an early morning flight. And the lady working the breakfast room- which wasn't opened yet - was more than happy to make me a cup of cappuccino!

Great location next to Old Bazaar&Central Square
Originally assigned room 105---don't get this one if you can help it. AC broken and excellent staff moved us immediately to an upgraded room. Staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Great Location in Central Skopje. Great breakfast in the morning!!!

Great location!
The hotel is small but cozy. The staff were super nice and talktative. They were always smiling and with a good attitude. The location of the hotel was the best part since you can walk to every turistic attraction. The girls from front desk Donna and Emini were very helpful explaining me the map of the city and recommending me places to go.

So nice that I decided to stay another night
It was a great location to walk everywhere. Was easy walk to the train and bus station. The view was great and the breakfast very good. The tv had so many good English channels. Staff spoke very good English and was very helpful! So, stayed another night.

This is one of the hotels with the best price-to-value ratio I've ever visited. Very convenient location, room not particularly spacious but very comfortable and clean, and the staff was very helpful.

Disappointing
Staff was super nice, location was good but room was falling apart. Exposed wires sticking straight out of the wall in the bathroom, baseboard molding fell right off, jaggedly broken mirror at floor level in a room they set up with a crib for our toddler. And it smelled really strongly of cigarettes. I usually give generous scores but I even considered leaving this hotel when I saw the condition of the room. We probably would have at least asked to change room if we hadn't checked in so late.

The hotel location is perfect just a 5 minute stroll to the centre of the city. The staff were all amazing, polite helpful, and eager to help. I arrived at 7am after an overnight bus ride and they allowed me to check in and apologised they only had a room without a view. Amazing

Exceptional service
I stayed here over the New Years and unfortunately caught a cold. Resa and Bezel were so nice in taking care of everything. Resa's girlfriend had also caught a cold at the same time and he offered to bring me some of hers but I was already taking some cold meds and didn't want to mix them. But he told me to stay in the room and he would bring up some soup from the restaurant below. Really exceptional service! Everyone there was very friendly. Room was very clean and close to everything - old town and sights.

Great location, minutes from the old Bazaar, and the bus stop where you can catch a bus to Canyon Matka. Helpful staff- guy on the desk went out of his way to locate us a fast food restaurant when we came stumbling in one drunken evening! Good breakfast, door open properly on balcony and when using the shower water went everywhere, but aside from that, no major problems. Would stay here again

Great hotel
Extremely helpful and lovely staff. Stayed 3 nights first time , lovely large room, 2 king beds, large screen TV with lots of channels and super shower!! Nice breakfast with fresh cooked eggs and pancakes cooked to order. Location fabulous, close to old town and Bazzar, easy walk to everything. We loved the hotel so much we stayed on our return from Ohrid before catching our coach to Belgrade the next day, room not as good as the first but very nice anyway. Definitely recommend

Very good value for money
There were work being done to the hotel during our stay, but the room is spacious and beds are comfortable. The hotel is clean, however a faint odor is detectable in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and would stay here again.

An outstanding hotel with friendly staff!
The hotel location is good, closed to the city centre and the bus station. The rooms are clean and the staff are absolutely friendly and helpful! We arrived at the hotel at 6.30 am after getting off the night bus from Tirana... although no room was available for us (we know it s too early to checkin), the staff offered us to stay in the guest room which is very comfortable and tea, coffee and even a free buffet breakfast were offered... We really appreciate the service of the hotel! The staff also gave us a lot of travel information. They are nice and polite! We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Biggest trouble was finding the place like with any hotel in this city most GPS do not support streets so I picked this one as it was near the centre. Unfortunate over 2hrs were wasted with locals and taxis trying to find it (not the hotels fault). So I was frustrated and in a foul mood on arrival as temperatures were high 30oC. The staff jumped to attention carried my luggage to the pre cooled room. Then not only gave me a map but came out onto the street to show me exactly where we were orientated on the map. Breakfast was first class just couldnt see the TV hidden behind tables and the lady on duty didnt tell me special requests were included. I really enjoyed the room despite no view with excellent facilities and tastefully furnished.From the hotel both the old & new city were easy walking with hundreds of eating options as well as well presented square. i just hope TomTom,Garmain etc get some serious mapping done of this part of the world so mopre people will come

Hotel staff was so kind and helpful. It's a 5 minute walk to the center and very close to pazar also. Room had air on and a big balcony to enjoy the view of the old part of Skopje. We will return to this hotel definitely!

Super 8 Hotel in Skopje, Macedonia
The room needed a little amount of work, but was comfortable and clean. Anything that the room may have lacked was more than made up for by the friendliness and accomodating staff. The hotel was only a couple of blocks from the city center and even closer to the old fort. It was definitely a steal for the money and I would love to stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and continues to be the highlight of the hotel. When I arrived the hotel room was really cold, so cold that we had to ask for an extra heater. We were assured that the air conditioner on the wall warm us up. If you just scratched your head and re read my sentence, you are right too. They thought the air conditioner was a heater. On the second day we had no hot water. The staff called someone to fix it but no results. Three days without hot water had it's challenges. Especially when it is -12c outside. I was given another room, where the water was not hot but luke warm. The hotel is really nice and has a lot of potential, staff is great; very friendly and very eager to help you for whatever you need. They get a 10 out of 10 here. The price for the hotel was very reasonable and the cheapest in town. It is five minutes walking distance to the town center and one minute from the famous bazaar. I believe this hotel needs some renovation and needs to solve the hot water and heating problem. I believe if you visiting Skopje during the Spring time or Summer, my problems would have been a little more easier to get by.

Great Hotel in a good location
Very Nice hotel in a great area. The room I stayed in had a nice large 48inch TV and large comfortable bed. They also had 25+ English channel including a lot of TV shows from the states. There are many taxis right outside the front steps of the hotel which was very nice.

All staff are nice and helpful. If you have a problem, they try every way to help you solve the problem. Before you arrive the hotel, they can help to provide direction. During your stay, the staff give advice on your trip. Breakfast is also good.

Exceptionally good hotel
Hotel was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We received warm welcome and were given all assistance needed. The room facilities looked a bit outdated, however it was very clean and comfortable. The location (address) is a little confusing and our satnav could not find a way, so I would advise to check how to get there before travelling.
