We were unlucky with the weather but very lucky to have booked into this hotel.
The spa facilities are hard to beat and the breakfast buffet had a wide selection.
The staff were very friendly. It bucketed out of the heavens for 3 days but we had a fabulous time.
One of the high points was sitting in the thermal pool in the rain.
Check-in was easy. Our room was perfect for us - comfortable, clean and well appointed. Room had a long terrace overlooking the small boat marina and a view of Lake Garda. Thermal pool is lovely, rain or shine. Breakfast was ample. Very relaxing and enjoyable.
"Wonderful Location views over "SILENT" Lake Garda"
My wife had been asking me for years to visit Lake Garda, so for our 27th.Wedding Anniversary we booked the Hotel Olivi & Thermal Spa in Sirmione for five days in late November 2014.
To our complete surprise and disappointment Lake Garda and Sirmione were virtually completely shut down, only one restaurant (La Scala) in the old town of Sirmione open for most of the week, apart from the weekend the Main Hotel Restaurant was also closed for lunch and dinner, however bar snacks were always available.
Missed the small print on Lake Garda boat timetables so no boat trips or excursions on this completely silent lake.
We did take advantage of an excellent and modestly priced bus service to surrounding towns including one very special day in the city centre of Verona marked by my stumbling onto Romeo and Juliet's legendary house and balcony much appreciated by the wife and all her Facebook pals.

This is a great hotel in a wonderful location. I've reviewed many hotels prior to booking and was pleased with this selection. It is just enough away from the noise and crowd by the fort but close enough to still be part of it and within walking distance. The hotel is right on the lake with big rooms that have balconies and also serves a decent breakfast. The hotel is not exceptional in luxury but a very comfortable stay for the two days we were in Sirmione without a car.
Very nice hotel, situated against the lake with a large garden against the lake. New seats facing the lake with plenty of sunbeds in the garden. Eat breakfast on the outdoor patio which was very pleasant and plenty to eat of varying foods,= from fruit, bread, meats, croissants, all fresh each morning.
Room was big enough, not massive but enough space and storage for a weeks clothing. Everywhere was clean and tidy with 2 comfortable lounges, one with a bar.
Would recommend it and be happy to visit again although for Sirmione itself it would be more convenient to have a car to see further afield..
We had stayed for 2 nights 27/02/15 with 2 pre teenage kids. We had the junior suite which comprised of a King size bed with a balcony with lake view.
The other room had a sofa bed and a single bed. both rooms had a television with sky in the main bedroom.
The bathroom room was amazing. No one wanted to come out of the shower, and the provide you with slippers.
Good amount of storage with a fully stock mini fridge.
We used the swimming pool of their sister hotel about 5 minutes walk away. which was very nice. We also took the ferry to Garda for lunch and a bit of a walk round.
Unfortunately we didn`t have enough time to do more.

It is a nice neighborhood based hotel near the MXP airport. If you want to be close to the airport but don't want to stay in the typical airport/parking lot kind of hotels this hotel is for you. It is located in a generally quiet town about 15 min from MXP.

Located on the shore of Lake Garda Yachting Club Mistral hotel is a pleasant friendly place. Bikes are available for free loan, but in my opinion a car will improve any stay 100%. Nearest town is Sirmione which is about 25 minutes walk away, but there are local restaurants and a supermarket opposite the hotel.
The lake itself is fabulous as are the towns located along its shore, particularly the eastern shore. Visits to Peschiera, Lazise, Garda and Malcesine are a must and can be reached via the lakeside road or ferries which criss-cross the lake. A visit to one of the fantastic ice-cream parlours with their hundreds of different ice creams is a must!
Meals can be had readily in one of the hundreds of restaurants and cafes lining the lake shores. The wonderful lake views have no impact on the food price, just the type and quality of the food, so there is something for everyone.

Spectacular Sirmione occupies a narrow spit projecting into Lake Garda, its entrance guarded by a picture-book 13th-century moated castle. Its immaculately-tended little pedestrianised town is patronised by a wealthy clientele, many of whom come for the spa and thermal baths complex. At the end of the peninsula visitors to the impressive Grotte di Catullo, the largest Roman villa remains in northern Europe, enjoy panoramic lake views.
