"Warm, friendly hotel with lovely smart casual feel"
Enjoyed a 5 night break here used hotel as a base for exploring locally and further afield. Great choice as we felt very comfortable at Hotel Olivi. Room a little small but it was situated at the front with a lovely view and private small terrace seating area. Staff knowledgeable and offered us excellent advice for example on parking in Verona etc.

Have to drive in slowly, as mostly pedestrian traffic and cars are only for those staying, living or working there and by permit. All part of the experience and makes for a leisurely atmosphere. Mavino is in the middle of the peninsula between the castle and the Grotte, the ruins of a Roman residence, belonging to Catullo, the poet. Staff wonderful and very helpful. Sirmione is wonderful and Mavina a great place to stay.

This is a great hotel, with excellent facilities and friendly and efficient staff. The room was very comfortable with nice quiet aircon. Pools are lovely and there are ample sunloungers available including many right next to the lake. The food is also very good. We would recommend and indeed would stay there again if we come back to Sirmione.
Hotel staff, food and ambiance of hotel excellent. Location very good as within easy access of both new and old parts of Sirmione. Transport links good, with bus-stop opposite hotel for journey to old town, but recommend walking, if possible, as very scenic route along parts of lake. Bike hire also available which is a good option for travelling around locally.

Very nice hotel, situated against the lake with a large garden against the lake. New seats facing the lake with plenty of sunbeds in the garden. Eat breakfast on the outdoor patio which was very pleasant and plenty to eat of varying foods,= from fruit, bread, meats, croissants, all fresh each morning.
Room was big enough, not massive but enough space and storage for a weeks clothing. Everywhere was clean and tidy with 2 comfortable lounges, one with a bar.
Would recommend it and be happy to visit again although for Sirmione itself it would be more convenient to have a car to see further afield..
We had stayed for 2 nights 27/02/15 with 2 pre teenage kids. We had the junior suite which comprised of a King size bed with a balcony with lake view.
The other room had a sofa bed and a single bed. both rooms had a television with sky in the main bedroom.
The bathroom room was amazing. No one wanted to come out of the shower, and the provide you with slippers.
Good amount of storage with a fully stock mini fridge.
We used the swimming pool of their sister hotel about 5 minutes walk away. which was very nice. We also took the ferry to Garda for lunch and a bit of a walk round.
Unfortunately we didn`t have enough time to do more.

Spectacular Sirmione occupies a narrow spit projecting into Lake Garda, its entrance guarded by a picture-book 13th-century moated castle. Its immaculately-tended little pedestrianised town is patronised by a wealthy clientele, many of whom come for the spa and thermal baths complex. At the end of the peninsula visitors to the impressive Grotte di Catullo, the largest Roman villa remains in northern Europe, enjoy panoramic lake views.
