“Great Hotel on Sentosa island with excellent standards of service”
When arriving at The Sentosa Resort you know you have arrived at a quality hotel. Bags are whisked away and check in streamlined with our room being immediately ready it is all one could want after stepping off a 12 hour flight. The room was large (Family Suite)enough for us and our two adventurous children and surrounded by lily ponds with koi carp it was a very trnquil setting. Cold water and chilled face towels were provided at the pool side which was welcome relief from the heat. Food served at the hotel was great but a tad on the pricy side ( as with all hotels) drinks from the pool bar pricy GBP3.00 for glass of coke. Apart from this the hotel is top quality and has three lovely restaurants and a fantastic spa which is worth a trip to. My only complaint if you could call it that was that there was perhaps a little too much attention from staff. 3 calls whilst in our room to ask if enjoying our stay. knock on door by housekeeping at 9 am every morning to ask if we needed laundry, again at 6:30 if we needed anything additional from housekeeping. We eventualy realised that putting do not disturb on the door solved this mostly though., but then found we ran out of conditioner/toilet paper etc. Overall a great hotel that we would go back to and infinitely better service and accomodation than Shangrila Rasa sentosa hotel Overall a top class hotel in tranquil setting
“Best of both worlds”
The Sentosa Resort and Spa is ideally located to sightsee in Singapore and enjoy peace and tranquility of a beach holiday. The standard rooms are vast, the bathrooms a delight, big LCD TVs and DVD players, plenty of storage space and a bed to get lost in, it's so big. The pool is nice and big and food and service at the pool bar is excellent. The Spa Botanica is amazing with wonderful treatments (I particularily loved the Body Booster) and beautiful relaxation areas. Highly recommended
“Excellent hotel”
We loved our stay here. Our only complaint was the cost of the evening buffet- very expensive for what it was, and we ate for cheaper in the Garden Restuarant the next night, with al a carte food and great quality! try the Garden restuarant- the desciption of 'healthy food' doesn't sound great but actually the food is amazing!! They just cook without butter or oil, but still have interesting and tasty dishes!
“Relaxing stay”
Great relaxing couple of day spent at the hotel. Even when we had checked out we were supplied with bottled water while waiting for the shuttle bus which took us to the Orchard area. Mini-suite was spacious and clean and the staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Only problem was when we were brought the wrong wine but this was soon corrected. Otherwise, flawless.
“Will be going back again”
Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, great rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic pool. We were so surprised by this hotel as at the price we paid I never expected such a high class and well maintained hotel. Just had three nights there as a stop over but would have happily stayed there for the whole time. Have visited Singapore many times and this is by far my favourite hotel and location on Singapore. It's quieter than staying on the main Island but close enough by Taxi or free shuttle service to the main Island so as not to miss out on the shopping in Orchard Rd, the bars and restaurants of Clarke Quay and the fantastic Zoo and Night Safari. Will be going back for sure.
