“Location, Staff, and Price”

This hotel is situated about 100 yards from the River Walk and about 1/4 of a mile walk from Clark Quay, making the location ideal. The price is good but you get what you pay for. The hotel is in rough shape and the rooms are very small, especially the shower (and that's coming from a guy who is 5'6", 130 lbs). There are some very good restaurants all within walking distance, just walk down to the river and turn right or left. There are French and Asian to the right and Clark Quay (just about every type of food) to the left. There is a really good Italian restaurant right next to the hotel called Sailors, there pizza reminded my wife and I of the pizza we used to eat in Napoli, Italia, it's that good. And the owner is Italian.

Area recommendations
Clark Quay has a wide variety of restaurants, from Persian and Morrocan to Chinese and Japanese.

“You get what you pay for”

This is truly a budget hotel. Bathrooms are tiny and you can only shower one half of your body at at time - and the water goes everywhere. Bathrooms are in bad state of disrepair. Bedrooms have wallpaper peeling off the walls, bedrooms are very small. It was a very convenient location and a really cheap price in comparison to the hotel next door, but probably next time I would pay the extra for better comfort and facilties. Luggage storage is in the lobby where everyone walks past constantly. Front desk staff were very helpful on my arrival.

“Robertson Quay Review”

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean, and extremely convenient to the places I want to be in Singapore. The service is efficient, and it is always easy to get a taxi, no matter how early in the morning. The breakfast was fine.

Area recommendations
Robertson Quay. Convenient to Clark Quay and all the good clean nightlife, including the Crazy Elephant and Brewerkz.

“A disaster!!”

Not suitable for family as it is not child friendly. Rooms are too narrow. Castrophobic.

“Tiniest hotel room in singapore”

Friendly staff, very helpful. Hotel room was a shocker, the tiniest room I ever stayed at in Singapore. Definitely not as per photo did expecting. The general interior very outdated. matrass very harsh. But it was clean and great view at Qluarke Quay and on the background the new building of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. I travel to Singapore for 10 years on average 2x per year.

“Great location”

The hotel was located in a centrally located area just steps from the Robertson Quay. Even though the bathroom was extremely small, this did not deter from our pleasant stay. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was more than expected. We would stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Singapore.

Area recommendations
Any of the quay areas. Lots to restaurants and shopping very conveniently located.

“Robertson Quay Hotel - low cost for a reason.”

Singapore is a great city to visit, but unfortunately rather expensive. As this was a business trip, I was under a budget constraint for accomodation, due to company policy. The RQ hotel was the chosen location. Breakfast here is a dismal and unappetizing affair - one toaster for the whole place, baked beans straight from a can, etc. Rooms are tiny, which is not a problem, but the bathroom was a disgusting mess - exposed pipes, discolored grout, no shower curtain or door, etc. Room climate control is primitive - off, hi, lo. Thermostat is about 10 feet from ground level. Wireless internet does not work, and while there is a pullout shelf for your laptop, the internet cable is too short to reach it. Great location, bad hotel. Give this one a miss.

Area recommendations
Robertson Walk area is nice, but this is a short walk away from Clark Quay, which is absolutely great. Tons of restaurants and night clubs, great scenery, shopping nearby, etc. Strongly recommend that if you're in Singapore, you take a walk through this area. If shopping is your drug, take a taxi to the Orchard Road area, but take a side trip - look for a sign pointing to the Alley Bar, and you'll find a side street full of pubs and restaurants that are perfect for a happy-hour stop off.
