“Spotless Hotel but Tiny Rooms”

This hotel is in a great location. It was also one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in and the room had every thing you could want. Staff also were extremely efficient, especially when we wanted 6pm check out (we paid extra) and the room change this entailed. The one downside of the hotel is the tiny size of the rooms. Great decor only goes so far. No where to sit other than the bed, ok for a one night stop over maybe but we were doing a 3 night short break. We'd stay again but try the Aqua room which from the website at least seems bigger than the garden premier we were allocated.

“Great boutique hotel in China town”

I come back to the New Majestic time and again. the room decorations are a lovely touch but I stayed in this time was called "Work". I'd steer clear of it next time - room was covered in ply wood - not my taste...

“great hotel, close to chinatown”

we stayed here for 3 nights before heading to thailand and it was very convenient. the price was quite good and we liked how it included breakfast as not many hotels in singapore do this. convenient to chinatown, only about 8 min walk and outram park MRT station just around the corner. one stop on the MRT and you pretty much get to sentosa island and 2 stops in the other direction will take you to clarke quay which was great. our room was a bit small for our liking, not really any space to lay down your suitcase but they have been clever in how they have positioned the toilet and shower. this being said, i dont think the size of a room is a major issue because if you are in a foreign country/city you wont be spending a lot of time in our hotel anyway right?! we would recommend to anyone to stay here and would definitely use this hotel again.

“Good location”

Hotel staff very efficient and friendly. We managed to check in early which was very helpful. Room was relatively small although in-room cubicles for the shower and toilet was imaginative if a little strange at first ! Clean too but a bit short on storage space for clothes. Free water, juice and soft drinks much appreciated ! Provided a good base for exploring Singapore and very close to MRT. Breakfast choice was a bit limited but okay. Late opening on Sunday so we thought we would miss out but they opened a little earlier for us to get a cup of tea and toast at least - thank you !

“Great hotel, great area”

This is one of the coolest hotels I've stayed at. It's in a great part of Chinatown, stumbling distance from the MRT station, great bars and interesting shops. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when we slept in until 15 minutes before check-out after a great night out at a local bar. The room was not huge, but was well equipped and had an outdoor bathtub, superb shower and was spotlessly clean. I'll definitely be back. Check out the Red Dot Design Museum just up the road if you're interested in contemporary product design.

The hotel is beautiful, service amazing. Truly lovely place to stay. Easy to get everywhere with transit a 3 minute walk away. Chinatown 5 minutes to great food! Highly recommend staying here, we enjoyed everything! Great clean rooms, free mini bar! Massaging shower that makes up for long humid days of walking in Singapore. We had beautiful breakfasts with dim sum included with our room and had a private tour of the hotel and an explanation of furniture designers. Staff was outstanding, thank you for a great stay! Within easy walking distance of many malls, Clark Quay, Chinatown, and got everywhere else with the tourist pass. A perfect stay!
