“Not Bad”

Singapore is not a cheap place for travel, but Harbour Ville is a good choise with its reasonable rates and service they provide. I didn't experienced any deficiency but a lot of help from their staff.

“Pay a bit more, it's worth it.”

No parking. Or at least very cramped parking. If you end up having to block other cars, just leave your keys with the front desk. This isn't part of the renovations either. The lot will be suitable for ten cars no matter what they do. The rooms are very small, no amenities, internet is extra and you "rent" the modem. Then they ask you how much time you spent on the internet and multiply that by a previously un-mentioned hourly rate. It's right across from the Port Authority, so if you want to see the port or Sentosa Island, everything close by walking or cab. The sky lift to Sentosa is just down the street at the closest intersection. Breakfast available every morning with room reservation...except SUNDAYS. ??? The restaurant isn't even open on Sundays. This hotel takes a step backward in Singapore's forward tourism momentum. The door locks are flimsy, workers are smoking in the stairwell on a non-smoking floor. Just a lot of things rubbed me the wrong way here...

“Shocking experience - will never use again”

Smelly rooms with brown stained walls, poor quality beds, poor standards of hotel management, inconvenient location requiring long walk or taxi ride to anything, inflexible staff who only helped once Expedia UK got involved. Please do not consider this hotel; there are many better in Singapore.

“Too much coin for too little.”

The staff were polite and friendly and the hotel appeared to be clean and well serviced.The room was cleaned daily but there was water damage to one of the walls which produced a permeating smell,also the walls were very thin and I could hear all the activities of the children in the neighbouring room from waking till their retiring.

“Good for those on a tight budget and only need a place to sleep!”

It is a very basic hotel but the staff are friendly and the rooms are basic but seem to be clean. The hotel is on a main bus route so easy to get into the city - takes just a few minutes with the bus stop just outside the hotel! Breakfast is served outside under a fabric canopy which is fine except when it rains hard (have to find a dry table). But the terrace is right next to a green grassy bank with rabbits munching and birds flying around which is good if you like a bit of nature. Self service breakfast - basically the same everyday with scrambled egg, sausages (chicken I think) and baked beans for westerners and some noodle based dish for those wishing to eat eastern type food and some juice drink tea and coffee, sliced packet bread with toaster, etc A/C in room switches off with key card so always a little hot and sticky when returning to the room in the evening.

For an out of town hotel it was ok. one window which was facing a wall!

“Economy on all levels”

Good hotel for people who need a place to shower and sleep. Free Internet in lobby. Small rooms. Some of the rooms need touch up. Breakfast is basic but decent. Overall good for the money.

“Comfortable, welcoming but a bit out of the way”

A simple comfortable quiet hotel with friendly helpful staff. Quiet Nice complementary breakfast in the open air. Main problem is that it's not very near food stores. There are many chinese food stalls just round the corner but for something a bit better the Vivos mall is 10-15 mins walk away: but excellent value when you get there. Generally just what I wanted for a short stopover

“we love it there”

We have stayed at this hotel a few times, we like it because it suits our budget, the staff are very helpfull and the rooms are very clean. It is also close to a bus stop where four or five buses leave frequently. The breakfast served is basic but adequate.
