Just a word of warning don't trust the cleaners here with unlocked luggages, they steal things. I had waited for the hotel to respond thought give them a fair chance to rectify or apologise but they have not responded hence this review

Loved the location of the hotel, plenty of shops and MRT near by. The room was not very clean, the floor was not cleaned/ hoover and a strong smell of urine in the bathroom.

Did not meet basic standards of a hotel
Quite a disappointing service even for Ibis standards. The checkin time is so horribly late (3pm) and there are loads of guests waiting in the lobby. The receptionists dont really care about guest services. The room was ant infested, and for 2 days room service was never provided. And when I was, the guy just fixed the comforter and absolutely nothing else. The room was not even brushed, and the bathroom was not cleaned. Unfortunately, I was not in the room at that moment otherwise would've complained. Overall it's just a 3/10 - and the 3 is only for the safety, availability of the room, and location of the hotel. Would not pay 130 SGD/night for this ever again.

The hotel is in a good location close to the MRT station. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The hotel staff are friendly and hospitaliable. The late check out is good at 12pm. It means you don't have to rush in the morning. I have stayed in this hotel twice, I'll definitely be staying there again soon.

Excellent choice!
If you need a resort experience in your hotel room, this isn't it. But, there are only two things I want from a hotel: A comfortable bed and a hot shower. Check and check. However, be warned... there's a switch outside the bathroom that you must turn on to get hot water, so my first shower was cold! Pleasant stay with pleasant and helpful staff, which was refreshing compared with the generally cold and often rude interactions from most Singaporeans. This hotel is within a short walk to Lavender MRT station from which it's a very fast ride to nearly anything you'd want to do or see in Singapore. Locals tell me the tourist MRT/Bus pass is expensive, but I found the convenience and (relatively) low cost to be a great value. I pad less for my two days transportation on the MRT system than I did for my first taxi ride from the airport! MRT is highly recommended.

The Smoker's "Non-Smoking" Hotel
What I liked: front-desk staff was helpful and courteous; room was clean initially; location is quite good -- close to MRT and lots of food choices What I disliked: laundry service takes 3-4 days to return (did not use); seemed to have no separation from room to room above bathroom ceiling panel -- could hear next-door's conversations and TV as if they were in the same room (!); despite being a "no-smoking" hotel, guests were constantly smoking, and management's only response was to put an ionizer in the hallway rather than investigate and fine the offenders.

I heard someone was bathing next door when the water tap was on. Because our bed was just near to next door bathroom separated by a thin wall. The room is tiny but with a very strong central air - conditioner. The tiny is too chilling even we turned on 23°C. The fridge didn't function well. It suddenly deforsted and may cause worsen the eggs and yogurt.

Worth it for the Price.
Good for the price. Clean, comfortable, and straight forward. Great location near the Lavender MRT (short walk). Nice neighborhood. Can get to the airport easily, or go downtown via the MRT in just a few short stops. Grocery stores and lots pf food shops nearby. No refrigerator in room. Cleaning service did not come until the evening of my second night. Decent place if you're looking for a simple, clean place to bed down and shower while visiting Singapore.
