“A truly luxurious experience”

This was my second stay at Capella, this time with my husband over the Easter break (the last trip was with family over Xmas shortly after the hotel opened). We've had a pretty stressful few months are were just looking to completely relax and unwind, and Capella proved an ideal place for this task. My last stay at Capella was good enough for me to choose it again, and I was not disappointed. The quality of the rooms is still top-notch and the facillities and surroundings are beautiful. Of course the hotel is very convenient for the other activities on Sentosa Island and the nearby shopping at Vivo City, but you could just stay in the hotel all day and still enjoy your trip. Service at Capella is absolutely 5-star and staff were extremely helpful and courteous - special mention to the maitre-d at the Knolls restaurant, who always seemed to have a smile and did everything up to and including soothing babies! The included extras like the constant stream of cool drinks and ice cream by the pool, complimentary mini bar and high tea in the library are also things that really made the experience memorable and 5-star - I wish more hotels were like this. We'll definitely be returning.

“Capella resort - positively unique experience”

We enjoyed our one week stay in this beautiful hotel on Sentosa. The architecture is interesting (part colonial, part modern), but it is a beautiful hotel with good service. The new GM is working hard to help the hotel make its mark. We were impressed with him and think the Capella might even make in the competitive luxury hotel environment on Sentosa. The restaurant options are limited as are the food choices. The hotel indicated no kids under 17, but we took a 15-year old and a 17-year old and there were other (well behaved) kids. The point really being that if children will be allowed, the hotel will have to broaden their menu to accommodate children's palates and appetites. We LOVED the library. A marvelously old-world setting with tea service every afternoon and sherry and port early evening. What a treat! Incongruously enough, we were awoken at 12:30 on the second last evening by construction in one of the rooms. After asking repeatedly to stop construction, it picked up again at 7:30am waking us after a sleepless night. The same thing happened our last evening there, but the hotel stopped the work at about 10:30pm or so after we politely requested it. As a gesture, the hotel allowed us to check out late our final day, which made the long day much easier on the family. Overall, a great experience.

Area recommendations

For families or business conventions, Sentosa is fun. For couples or singles, stay in Singapore proper, where the action is.

neues Hotel der Superlative. Persönlicher Service, der nicht aufdringlich ist. Wunderbare Zimmer mit tollem Blick über die Anlage bis nach Indonesien. Spektakuläre Architektur (Norman Foster) mit gelungener Eingliederung der alten Bausubstanz. Bequeme, schnelle Erreichbarkeit vom Flughafen oder der City mit Taxi. Bestes Hotel in Singapore (ich kenne weitere sechs 5-Sterne Hotels aus eigener Erfahrung)

“リッチな気分”

１ベットルームシービュービラを利用しました。開放的な部屋でとてもリッチな気分で過ごすことができました。また、スタッフのかたも何かと親切にしてくれてとても快適でした。さすが六つ星ホテル！！
