"Lovely low-key gem."
This bure type duplex isn't for the five star hotel diva crowd, but it is clean and the staff couldn't have been more hospitable. It is down a long dirt road, right on the ocean front and it's simple decor and environment fill you with peace and tranquility. My husband and I got lost at night trying to find it, and the staff came out to the main road and guided us in! I can't express how truly welcoming and friendly everyone was. Great value and family friendly.

"Excellent stay close to beach great location !!!!"
Excellent holiday we stayed 13 nights June/July 2014, Nice weather..large rooms, secure premises, lovely setting, service excellent - the staff were excellent, friendly, helped with all matters. Greeted with a smile all the times. The food was excellent especially the reef endeavour !!! and cocktails very more-ish. Happy hour was excellent place to meet the staff and other guests if you like to. Meet some lovely people also staying - everyone was there to have a holiday and enjoy themselves. Snorkeling was relaxing in the lagoon the water was so warm. We joined in and caught local buses most places, all locals were helpful to us and gave free advice. Sigatoka good to experience and $1 FD one way. Taxi is about $9 FD each way. Took local mini bus to Suva $10FD its a good experience where again you meet the locals who were always friendly and helpful. Only some retailers in Suva were pushy to get you to buy, but we were polite and just left the premises. Visited Robinson Crusoe Island for a day am/pm for dinner and local dancing show, which was excellent. Boat ride, Fire walking, flame and knife throwing/juggling incredible. All the staff made us feel very welcome - we had a busy. Bedarra Beach Boys band were excellent, so were all who joined in the entertainment. Good family atmosphere. Dining was excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of other places also to eat at in both directions from the motel. Other resorts nearby as well. Will Return xxx

"Relaxing week at the Outrigger"
The Bures are beautiful. The adult pool was great for avoiding the kids in the main pool. Snorkeling great just out from the hotel. Staff were really friendly and genuine. We had a lovely relaxing week away.

"Life couldn't get any sweeter than here!"
My husband and I (50's) LOVED it here. If your looking for peace, tranquility and awesome view right from your bed, and front porch. This is the place. If you are looking for a true Fiji experience were the staff treat you like family (if you want) each day feels like coming home to an old friend who is interested in your day and who will tell you all the best spots to go. We went to the public beach at Natadola---besides its beauty the people were a delight to be with. They have two travel guide and one is from the local village. We had a private tour of the hot spring with interesting info on the plants and area along the way. With as much time as we wanted to soak in the spring and cool off in the steam and back again. Plus another hike to the waterfall---having the place to ourselves was beyond comprehension. The room was wonderful with a bed right by the louvered windows with ocean breezes coming in and a great breach view, the entertainment was fun and the music sweet and the Fijians laugh and kindness in beyond words. You can have a fire on the beach, snorkel and kayak right their for free and the village churches and shop are within walking distance, the food is very good but if you want a change there are resorts and a cafe close by to eat at. We went to one big resort for an afternoon to see what it was like. It was very nice---but not the same experience as here--very sterile--and business like. If you want quant, peaceful, laughter and Fiji---GO HERE!

"VERY WELCOME"
The Hideaway was fantastic, I spent a week here with my son and everyone made us feel very much at home. they offer lots of activities such as , Game charter fishing, scuba diving, fire walking, nightly shows, and all sorts of daily fun activities. You can snorkel right off the beach and there are some nice parches of coral, but also a lot of dead coral, but still well worth doing, plenty of nice fish. The resort is well set up to cater for families with kids and I would suggest avoiding school holidays if you want more of an adult time. I found the bar and shop prices to be a bit high, compared to other resorts, but no problem if you are on an all inclusive package. The village next to the resort does have a shop that sells some bacis a lot cheaper than the resort and a much more fun place to shop. The staff are awesome, just loved them. The resort is a bit dated but improvement work is going on all the time, and the resorts and rooms were very clean. The resort is a bit isolated but only a $3fj bus ride to the nearest town, where you can stock up on basics, including grog, at a much much better price than charged at the resort. I came across a great Cab driver Jiten he was great and was very fair with his charges his contact number is 9247161. He took us to places of interest and no souvineer shops, make sure you visit Kula Eco Park, it is a must see and great value.

"Paradise"
Wonderful hotel, wonderful setting &wonderful staff. It only took us about 30 minutes to be thoroughly relaxed beside the family pool. All the rooms, amenities & staff are truly exceptional. It is a pity the Intercontinental is no longer in the priority privileges program, as the only slight setback was the cost/quality of food, (they will honor existing membership though). Sanasana buffet is fine for breakfast & a few dinners, but probably not worth the $FJ90 per head price tag. We tended to have lunch / dinner at Toba, which we thought had better value/meals. They do great Pizza. A big thank you to Miriama at Toba for making our stay truly delightful, (our girls though you were great). Snorkels and masks are well worth taking if you don't want to hire at $FJ25. You can see fish in knee deep water from the beach, but if you wait until low tide and cross the lagoon to Navo Island, there is a wonderful variety of colorful fish to see on the reef there. The snorkel trip boat goes about 30m further out, but I wanted to show my 5 &6 year old the fish, so wanted to stay closer in. Be careful of the rip at higher tides though, as it is quite strong. Stop at the new New World supermarket a few kms out from the airport (on left from airport) to stock up on bottled drinks, bread, spreads etc if you want to save some $$, (remember a knife and plates). We enjoyed being a little further out from pool & restaurant as quieter and we enjoyed walk back after dinner.
