“Step back in time”
Old world, big on charm and hospitality. Very helpful, pleasant, and eager to please staff, all of whom speak excellent English.. Our room in the main villa was small, but larger rooms are available. Furnishings are antique and in keeping with the timelessness of the villa. I believe our crisp sheets were changed daily. Ask for a room in the back, away from the early morning Vespa traffic. The villa is located a few miles outside of the the city center, but is easily reached by a bus that stops at the end of the driveway about every 20 minutes. You can purchase bus tickets at the front desk. The restaurant is very good with impeccable service and offers a reasonable prix fix dinner menu in addition to a la carte. An ample breakfast is included. There is a quiet garden patio where meals can be had as well. Off the bar is a large comfortable space to relax that overlooks the gardens. There were about equal numbers of American and European travelers of all ages during our stay. Best for couples or singles w/friends. Ample free parking for those renting a car to explore the countryside and nearby walled towns---something I would highly recommend. The train station is a short cab ride away as is a Hertz rental. Overall, a lovely respite at the end of day. I heard nothing but praise from other travelers and I would stay definitely stay there again.
“Fabulous Place to Stay”
We loved everything about this villa. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. It is very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. They have gourmet food in the restaurant and have several fantastic areas to relax and enjoy the view - the most beautiful place! You won't want to leave.
“passez votre chemin”

Siena, Italy: Tuscanys most distinctive and enticing provincial capital, Siena appears to be frozen in time. The glorious medieval core remains a itrecento/i masterpiece, cascading down three hills from the fan-shaped Piazza del Campo. Highlights include the Palazzo Publico (town hall) and the stripy Duomo with its marble floors. The thrilling Palio horserace takes place twice a year in July and August, and has to be seen once in a lifetime.
