“Read the hotel details carefully!”
Siena B&B Hospitality IS NOT 1 hotel- but rather a reception desk for 5 small B&B's. The reception IS NOT 24 hours and is open at LIMITED times during the day! We arrived at 12 noon only to have to wait until 4PM when the reception opened! They open between 9:30-12noon and 4PM & 8:30 PM- so if you arrive in between these times, you're pretty much screwed! We ended up n one of their properties- Mercato B&B- it was 27 degrees celsius in siena & the owner refused to turn the aircon on because n his words- you only need aircon in Siena for 3 days a year! What a load of bull! In fairness- the room was clean and the b&b was close to the city centre. However, we weren't comfortable in a hot room! So before you book MAKE SURE that there is aircon especially in the peak summer months! It's only spring but it's already quite warm!
“Siena B&B Hospitality”
Hotel is in great location. Not so new and not so clean but realy convinient for all attractions. 5 min walk.
“Siena, right off the Campo”
Excellent location in an ancient building with clean modern furnishings.
“Sienna's best location at the right price!”
We were extremely pleased with our room and with the welcome we received by Siena Hospitality. We were literally steps away from the Piazza del Campo and looked at the back of the central building and tower there from our room. The room was clean and the building was very old with a lot of character. The only draw back to the room was that the air conditioning was not being used yet. It was there in the room, but it was early in the season, so the owners were not using it yet. Since it was hot, we kept the windows open, which was nice, but a bit noisy due to the central location. It would have been PERFECT with the air conditioning turned on.
“A nice place”
We stayed in Siena for some days in April. We got a room in an apartment at Via Montanini. The apartment was really nice and clean. There were about five bedrooms in it but people who stayed over there were nice and quiet. The flat was situated on the fourth floor but there was a lift so we were not bothered by carrying the pushchair and the baby. The flat had a kitchen as well which was very important to us because we needed to prepare a milk for our child etc. The only one thing we didn't like at all was breakfast. The hotel gave us the vouchers to Barchi Bar. It was the worst bar we have ever been to. Very rude staff, loud music, no highchair for the baby and a small selection of not tasty dry sandwiches. We extremely advice to book a room with Siena Hospitality Hotel but we would never encourage anybody to visit Barchi Bar.
“Not impressed.”
This hotel B&B provides a clean room and little more. I thought the B&B office was difficult to find, the office was closed and contact information was lacking. Once I found her, the manager escorted me on foot through Siena to the room which was located on the fourth floor--no elevators. Be prepared to "rough" it a little with this B&B.
“great location”
I stayed in two of their locations. The one on the same street as their office had a bit more charm -- and bathroom products. But I liked the one at the bus station, too. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Great price, great locations.
“Great Find”
The location was excellent, and the room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Great Value!
“A little warm, as there is no A/C, parking terrible”
The hotel is a collection of nearby rooms, some are even small apartments which is what I stayed in. It was very nice except there is not an air conditioner so the place got very warm. Also, parking is next to impossible with a long walk required although there was mention of a curtesy van service...it just wasn't running when I came and went. The legal parking is about a 5-8 minute bag drag away. The people I came in contact with at the hotel were warm and friendly. Overall a good experience.
“Great location, brilliant value”
It is a room in a very old and on first appearances it looked forboding. However, once inside, it was completely renovated to a high standard and clean. Very comfortable and only 100 metres or so from the Campo (where they hold the Palio.
