Rooms

All our bath amenities are completely cruelty free. 51 rooms are in the main house and 14 in the adjoining outbuildings.

Also recently refreshed and provided with all the above services and facilities, they are furnished to be simple and functional. In the morning we offer our guests a rich buffet breakfast with a choice of hot and cold drinks, juice, croissants, pastries handmade by our pastry chef, biscuits, yogurt and fruit, cereals, muesli, puffed rice, bread, toast, fresh fruit, jam, butter, Nutella, scrambled eggs and sausages, cheese and cold cuts and for the sweet tooth guests a chocolate fondue! Gluten free and vegan food also available.

We do not have a restaurant but within walking distance there is a wide choice of pizzerias, bistros and restaurants for every taste and pocket.

“Friendly, comfortable hotel. Close to Siena centre.”

All of the staff at Hotel Italia in Siena were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with very good air conditioning and every thing in good order. The location is excellent. It is worth mentioning to anyone arriving by train (at the bottom of the hill - the hotel is at the top!), there is an escalator in the shopping centre directly opposite the train station which connects with the street that the hotel is on. Very quick walk into the city. Highly recommended.

“An excellent experience”

We were very impressed with the Hotel Italia. This is partly because we were upgraded to a superior room, which was very roomy and contained a comfortable sofa. The buffet breakfast was good and they provided gluten-free crachers and cake for my coeliac husband. It is a 15-minute walk to the centre but it's a direct and straightforward route.

“Hotel staff were not very friendly”

The room was clean and a good size and the bed comfortable. Parking was an issue as we had to park some distance away from the hotel. Staff were not friendly and the breakfast was average but it was OK for one night.

“Decent enough hotel”

The Hotel Italia is a 15-20 minute walk from the town centre, depending on how fit you are. The walk in is though a nice cobbled street and the further out of town you get the cheaper the restaurants become. The area is nice. The room was comfortable and clean enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty basic, I wasn't impressed with the coffee machine, but the croissants were good.
