A favourite hotel providing value for money

Posted 06-Nov-2014
Pros: Nice, spacious room with pool view. Friendly staff and good amenities. I am a regular visitor and it maintains good standards over time.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Excellent location for shops, restaurants and walk to Pub St. Easy tuk tuk drive to Angkor Wat.
Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Lovely room with a view over the pool. Very clean and well maintained. Great breakfast each morning with a variety of dishes. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Is in a great location near shops and restaurants. Terrific value for money.

Mixed Bag, Delivered With a Smile

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, cheap rate, and nice ambience.
Cons: Language barriers exist to some extent.
Location: City centre just a short walk away. Everything else available by tuk-tuk.
It was the third room that I walked into that the hotel got right, but all was delivered with a smile. The first room had twin beds when I had a double bed booking. The second had broken air conditioning, something I thought would be a good idea to get right in Siem Reap. The third room was fine. So by the time I had unpacked for the third time, it had taken over one hour. Luckily, I had time available. And all this was delivered with a smile and with sincere apologies. The hotel is very comfortable. Good sized rooms, nice facilities, nice view over the pool from the balcony. Great stay overall. Hotel has a good ambience. Would definitely recommend. One suggestion is that if you made any special arrangements with the hotel prior to your stay, have them in writing. Some things tend to get a little lost in translation, and sometimes the hotel policy seems to change between staff.

Pleasant Stay

Posted 21-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is well-located to walk to restaurants, we were able to rent bikes at a nearby shop and bike to Angkor Wat, the breakfast was better than expected... all in all no complaints and a good stay!

Some very minor issue but still a very good choice

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Pros: Good service, spacious room Clean, comfortable place. Asian style interior design with wood floor really makes a difference.
Cons: Need good luck to connect in-room wifi. Strange smell in the room noticeable for first few minutes. A bit far from night market. Take tuk tuk for $2
Location: Haven't got the chance to explore the neighbourhood. Basically spent all the time in the night market and Siem Reap ancient sites.

Great location!

Posted 09-Aug-2014
Pros: Location. Low rate compensated for problems noted.
Cons: Renovation, training, furnishing in rooms, bad bath facilities.
Location: Old market, night market pub street. Good French food at abacus, although pricey for area.
Best hotel asset is its location in the midst of town within walking distance of Old Town, night market and Pub Street. Hotel is need of major renovation. It is tired. Staff extremely courteous, but generally lack thorough and professional training. Shower was totally inadequate as low flow head was only a trickle. Toilet did not flush properly.

Relaxing getaway 10 min walk from Pub st

Posted 06-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff were super friendly and tried their best to help with everything! They are honest and gave great recommendations for the tours we wanted.
Cons: The breakfast buffet is a bit small and would be great if there were more variety.
Location: Lucky Mall is right opposite where you can get any necessities or snacks. Pub street and the Night market is 10 minutes walk or cost 2 USD on tuk tuk.
My family and I enjoyed everything, from the comfortable rooms to relax in after a long day of exploring Cambodia to listening to their live band that plays in the bar 6 days a week! The pool side was beautiful, relaxing and clean. They even have a fully equipped gym!

Good hotel close to shopping.

Posted 12-May-2014
Cons: More options and different menus for breakfast.
Location: The shopping, eating places and the famous night market is within walking distance. The Angkor Wat and Airport are not to far away too.
My colleagues and myself stayed at Prince D'Angkor Hotel and Spa in Siem Reap recently. The place was very clean with good breakfast. The hotel had all the amenities and was worth the money. It was very close to shopping centres and malls and not too far from the famous Angkor Wat and the airport. They also arrange tours with english speaking guides to the Angkor Wat and other interesting places. Even the wifi was working well once you log on. The staff were pleaseing, pleasant and helpful especially the front desk staff. Only the room attendants were not soo good in enIish and this in my case brought their rating down a little. I would stay in this place if I do return to Siem Reap again which I hope to do so in the near future with my family.

Swimmer's paradise!

Posted 07-Mar-2014 on Hotels.com
This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are great, top-quality linens, excellent service. The breakfast buffet is fine. But for me, the best things was the 30-yard pool where you could swim in many cases all by yourself! The landscaping around the pool is fantastic and I noticed that some people had trouble getting away from the pool.

Luxury hotel

Posted 06-Mar-2014
Pros: Swimming pool, health club facilities, early check in - at no extra charge, general ambience, enhanced by music!
Cons: Breakfast menu could be more international and varied
Location: The main attraction in the area is Angkor Wot and surrounding temples
All the qualities of an international hotel with a local style special to Cambodia. Elegant, traditional hotel that could not fail to please.

Great location downtown and away from the Pub area

Posted 20-Feb-2014
Pros: Nice pool, comfortable room. Served beer by the pool in an ice bucket.... Very civilised
Cons: You pay for any extras
Location: Great restaurnt across the street - Nest. More expensive but toyaly worth it.
Nice location with the usual great hospitality you expect in Cambodia. You'll pay more but also get more. A little more expensive than the similar hotel next door. Hotel was a deal by Canadian stadards, expensive by Cambodian stadards.
