“Clean, Luxury, Great”

Hotel was great. They keep clean the room. I think more than 3 times a day. But, morning buffet was disappointing. That's 4 star level. Food itself was good, but not many options. same for 3 days, out stay.

Nice hotel close to the Angkor Wat area. Nice, serene setting. Restaurants a bit pricey. Tours a bit pricey but well arranged

“There are better options”

OK--get this--in the Starwood "Preferred Rooms," the only thing separating the sleeping area from the bathroom--the toilet!--is a shuttered window. You can close that so you don't see anything--but you can hear everything! Who wants that? Everything is beautiful at Le Meridien, but this setup is simply awful. Of course, there's nothing they can do about it now...except never hire those architects again. The pool, while pretty, is laden with chlorine. I believe that there are more gentle ways to provide sanitary conditions. This hotel charges you a ridiculous amount of money for airport pickup and drop-off (ridiculous for Cambodia). They charge you for internet access, a steep fee again. We really felt nicked and dimed here, especially considering that we were already paying a high price for the room. Why not offer some services for free???.

Try the best vegetarian restaurant ever! Chamkar, on one of the pedestrian streets. If they had an San Francisco branch we'd be there once a week.

“Beste Wahl”

Ideales hotel zum Besuch der Tempel von Angkor. Sehr freundliches kompetentes Personal. Excellentes Frühstücksbuffet, herausragender SPA Bereich und Pool. Wunderschönes Ambiente im Hotel und den ausreichend großen Zimmern. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut für diese Kategorie Empfehlenswert ist der Laundry Service, hervorragend und sehr preiswert. Kann dieses hotel sehr gerne weiter empfehlen und werde es bei künftigen Reise auch selbst wieder buchen.

Flug aus Bangkok mit Bangkok Airways, sehr angenehm, mit Turbo Porb Maschine, ein Erlebnis

Getting around

Tuk Tuk vor Ort mieten, pro Fahrt oder aber Stunden/Tageweise, Verhandlungssache. Gibt man 2 Dollar mehr bekommt man alles vom Fahrer, es sit anfangs etwas lästig wenn die Jungs ständig fragen wann man wieder ein Tuk Tuk braucht, aber wenn man dann eienen festen hat ist es sehr angenehm. Die kennen auch sehr gute kleine einheimische Restaurants, etc.

Shopping

Nicht bei den Tempel kaufen, viel zu teuer. Lieber in Siem Reap auf dem Markt, oder aber z.b. im Bereich der Rolus Gruppe östlich von siem Reap, sehr tolle Steinmetze,etc. Ansonsten lieber bei den Händler und Geschäften in siem Reap, handeln ist auch dort möglich.

“Belle piscine”

Rapport qualité prix assez élevé par rapport à la concurrence à Siem Reap. Bel hotel néanmoins. C'est dommage que des chambres donnent sur le parking. Le personnel à la reception était decevant par rapport à la qualité de l'établissement. Le petit déjeuner est bien (très bon pain !) et la piscine est très belle et agréable après des visites de temples.

“Un excellent hôtel”

Tout est très bien les points négatifs sont: - les fenêtres des chambres impossibles à ouvrir - les locaux du spa sont ridiculement petits alors que les soins sont top ! - la propention à vous facturer en extra un lit supplémentaire pour un enfant de 4 ans qui était compris dans le prix payé sue Expedia (beaucoup de palabres inutiles)! - le coût prohibitif et indécent des connexions internet au BCenter (6 US$ la mn +TVA+ service!!)

“Miglioramento evidente”

In un anno l'hotel già buono è migliorato di molto. Soprattutto ha perso quel carattere di grosso, elegante ma un po' impersonale hotel che l'architettura dell'intero complesso non aiuta di certo a far dimenticare. Servizio di buon livello che meriterebbe l'assegnazione da parte Vs della quinta stella.

Traveller's tip

Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è addirittura quasi mortificante. Forse i più esigenti preferiranno recarsi al vicino hotel Raffles ma, per chi non trovasse posto al Grand Hotel, questo Le Meridien potrebbe riservare più di una piacevole sorpresa.
