Two night stay.
Nice hotel, good value for money for our two night stay, decent evening meal not too expensive & a great breakfast but very expensive at the bar. The hotel could definitely do with a lick of paint to the rooms & it’s exterior as it looks a bit downtrodden on first appearance but overall nice stay with lots of lovely friendly staff.

Stayed overnight on our way back from a holiday abroad. The hotel was beautifully kept and the staff worked hard to make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding at Hawkstone Hall
Staff we encountered were excellent. Nice breakfast and comfortable room. The bedroom had single glazed windows, so lots of internal condensation in the morning. The bed was very large and comfortable, the room was warm during our November stay.

Good enough place to stay to visit the follies, play some golf and get around easily. They could do with some shampoo and body lotion for female clients. Dinner is good, and some of their staff was excellent!

We booked a family room last minute - the place was great. Bunk beds for the kids and big king size bed for us. Service has friendly and really helpful- got half price tickets to the Follies too.

Lovely spacious room. Sadly the zip on the joining beds was broken so the mattress kept coming apart. Pillows very hard too. Oh, also no phone in my room to call reception or room service. Bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied from previous guest… not a huge deal.

After filling in quetions online, had to do it again at check in, room was a long way up stairs, then down stairs & up again, requested bed to be split for second night, was told that house keeping would do it in the morning, itwas not done, on arriving in room second night, no milks had been restocked & there was no sweetners for Coffee, I was not prepared to walk all the way to reception to ask for milks or Sweetners.

Soulless, in fantastic setting full of history and outstanding beauty, not reflected in a very bog standard corporate style hotel. Obviously catering for golfers who dont care about the lack of information about the facilities. Under trained bar staff who didnt know what sherry was and served it a brandy glass! Disabled bathroom had stupidly low wc with no assistance equipment.

My Stay at Hawkestone Park
Overall trip was good for an all male golfing trip. We were surprised that the hotel did not have facilities for watching BT sport and must have lost a lot in bar takings. The lady on reception when we checked in could not find our reservation for a while and had to look in different places and didn’t seem to know we had checked in online. The rooms are very basic and small and not very sound proof and the water pressure is not great on the shower. The room service was very good and the selection of beer is better that last year. The breakfast is really good as was the dinner. The sandwiches in the clubhouse are very mixed the ham and cheese was very poor value being basically 2 bits of bread a cheese slice and piece of ham for about £8. In contrast the breakfast sandwiches and fish finger sandwiches looked to be much better value. The main point of the trip was the golf and the quality of the courses is amazing - well done to the Green keeping staff for that

Hotel was Very good, staff great and the breakfast was spot on , very clean and shower pressure excellent The only challenge was my room had a large slope in it from side to side which was very strange!

Great food, lovely staff, peaceful setting. Really enjoyed stay. Hotel within golfing grounds. If there is a footpath around grounds for walkers, that might be good for another time. Also would love to see the nearby follies, but it tends to be open on weekends.

Very welcomed by all staff. Excellent sized rooms and nice and clean and indeed comfortable. A little attention to touching up decor and stains on carpet are required. Disappointed in breakfast expensive for what was on offer with very little fruit etc. No one offered any alternative options . Think you let yourself down with this . Left comment at reception; a shuttle service should be in offer to allow wedding guests to return safely in a timely manner . If not THIS SHOULD BE MADE VERY CLEAR WHEN BOOKING

Check in was ok however when we got to the room there was an infestation of fly’s. We had to change rooms. Breakfast was good. We booked the room via Hotels.com I chose the pay at the hotel at a price of £125.00 for the night. I day before my arrival I was charged £149.00!! After several conversations and lots of lengthy online chats over 6 days they have agreed to give me the difference back however this is yet to be refunded!! Won’t be staying here again and won’t be using hotels.com again
