Nice property but if you've ever been to a Margaritaville, it cab can be deceiving. The pool area was nothing special. If that doesn't bother you than its a nice hotel with a casino and several dining options within and around the hotel.

I paid for a deluxe king room no smoking for my son and his wife for the night after their wedding, they arrived around midnight to find out their room that I had already previously paid for had been given to someone else and all they had left was a regular smoking room, the employee told off on them by saying we had a big event this weekend so we only have a few smoking rooms left, sooooo since my son did not check in early his paid in full room had obviously been given to people who checked in earlier than him, so they sold his room out from under him. My reservation for him had cleared my credit card back in January for the deluxe king room no smoking.... I have never heard of such that they do not honor previous booking that you get whatever room is available at check in ....my son is allergic to cigarettes and was only offered a regular smoking room when I had already paid for a deluxe king non smoking room months prior ....Expedia was exceptional at promptly refunding my money since Margaritaville gave our room away, so they went to the Horseshoe which was glad to have us a customer!! This was ridiculous and unacceptable on his wedding night, what a disappointment!!! We will not be back !!!!!!!!

We liked the location and atmosphere of the hotel. The room was very spacious and beds were super comfortable. Our dislike was the amount of cigarette smoke in the lobby, restaurant and elevator,

This is the 2nd time I stayed there both times horrible. This time on was waiting on the front person for 20 mins while she was playing on the computer then had to get my keys exchanged 3 times because they didn’t program right. We were on the 18th floor so that is inconvenient. The staff is not friendly or helpful super rude and short. Restaurant hours were not correct and also staff was short staffed and wait service was not like we are used to in a casino. We went to eat at the restaurants that were never open per the website. Pool bar was closed as well. Just overall a waste

We have stayed multiple times at Margaritaville but being woke up at 6am with “tests” over the intercom and no power with THREE sleeping babies just really left a bad taste in our mouths. 30 minutes after we got our children calm and back asleep we was all rudely awaken again. It was hot and miserable for us.. why they chose 6am for that I will never know but after being woken twice with screaming kids all before 7 we got irritated and left immediately and drove 3 hrs home. Unfortunately as much as we love it here, we won’t be back because we had a less than desirable stay. The good parts are it’s always very clean and comfortable but if I wanted to be woken up with no power and screaming babies I would have stayed home.

We did not have hot water the morning we left. The casino floor did not have many games open to play during the day. Only slot machines. The hot tub also did not work on our first night and was only mildly warmer our second night.

The Margaritaville Hotel/Casino in Bossier City had a very fresh, clean room with spacious, clean, modern bathroom. That makes all the difference! Very fast/efficient elevators made it a breeze to go up to the room and back down to the floor in case you forgot something. The food at the sports bar was fantastic!! You have to have the breakfasts there! The burgers were also special! Two complaints I have are that all but one eatery was closed by 9pm on a Thursday night! It makes it tough for those who drive in from a good distance and want to checkin and have a bite at night. The other complaint is that Valet parking was closed when we arrived at 8:30pm! That’s pretty ridiculous. Valet goes a long way to making a guest’s stay extra special. Without that, the stay starts on a huge downer! Not good. Combine that with closed restaurants and you’re lucky I have 4 stars!

Staff was extremely rude at check in. I was traveling with my family for a funeral and the staff yelled at me for not moving fast enough. The property stinks like cigarette smoke even in our non smoking rooms.

The property has potential but about half or more of the staff was behaving as though they were doing the customers a favor by doing their job. At the 5 o’clock bar, the evening bartender gave us our drinks and didn’t say anything to us but turned around and was smiling, laughing, and conversing with 2 gentlemen at the other end of the bar. I watched that bartender treat any certain patrons the same way as he did to our party. One man walked up to order and then another man afterwards and the bartender smiled and asked the 2nd customer first, what he needed, while ignoring the 1st customer. I thought that was so rude. He would set our drinks in front of us and said nothing. It was so obvious that he favored the customers at the other end of the bar. We had 3adults in our room and they gave us 2 bath towels. When I asked about it, I was told they didn’t have enough towels on the property. The valet signs were out and no valet was present. When we asked for a cart for our bags they wouldn’t let us have one and said we had to wait for a bellman to accompany the cart. They seem short staffed &the ones who are employed don’t seem like they want to be there. I was disappointed about that. The place is nice &has potential but I hope they can get some employees that understand customer service. There were a handful of employees that were awesome like at the sports bar &the cigar bar. Otherwise, It’s pretty sad. I had more specifics on the bartender situation but Expedia rejected it.

We had fun and went to the casino. Disappointed in the casino. Had to go find the drink girl after an hour of playing. Then had to tip to get her to come back. Don’t mind tipping for good service but for no service isn’t right. At the coffee bar the next morning the people working there was very rude. Room was clean.

It was my first time ever to stay at Margaritaville. When I arrived to check in; the girl was a little bit snarky and when I entered my room; the floors were dirty. I called the front desk just to be put on hold for ten minutes. I had to hang up and call back down; when the lady answered the phone she asked annoyingly how can she help room ***. I told her the floors were dirty and some other minor inconveniences. She was short on the phone and said she would send housekeeping. I proceeded to wait another twenty minutes for housekeeping to arrive. The housekeeper was polite when she first got there. She asked if I wanted the floors mopped and vacuumed to which I said yes; she made a comment that she was going to find out who cleaned the room because it was unacceptable. She mopped but didn’t vacuum. She seemed irritated that she had to come back with a vacuum. We ate dinner at Saltgrass which was a total let down. All in all, for a one night stay on a Saturday, it was nice despite the setbacks I encountered. I did however expect this location to be in better conditions as advertised than it actually was.
