“very basic”

The room had a very strong odor. Asked for new room and it also hed the same odor. For the money it was a fair deal.However, I will not be returning.

“Very Fair place to stay, would return.”

We were very satisfied with the hotel location and facility in general. My husband was impressed with the breakfast choices. ( I slept in). The indoor pool was clean-very well kept. We would return to this hotel.

Try "Darby's" for breakfast. Good size portions and delicious too!

“Well Kept in Pinetop”

This Super 8 in Pinetop, AZ is a great motel and is very well run by a family. Both husband and wife are very attentive and lovingly care for the grounds and property, inside and out. The indoor pool, exercise room, laundry room and free breakfast are a big draw and the rooms are large and quiet.

“CLEAN NOISY”

fIND IT IRRITATING NOT TO GET A 1ST FLOOR ROOM WHEN THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY AVAILABLE.OK BREAKFAST,OWNERS BURNED SMELLY INCENSE IN THE LOBBY ,BOTHERED MY ALLERGIES.

“Not Happy”

We spent 2 nights at this Hotel. They did not clean our room. They took our towels and did not leave us any clean ones. Management did not appologize for the inconvience. We were not happy with our stay. Food service was ok. Pool needed maintenance, clearity was very poor.

“amenities”

The hotel was inviting but I would have like healthier choices for breakfast; ie hard boiled eggs, friut, whole wheat bread. The Manager was quick to respond to quest requests and polite. The back door stayed open through the night which questioned our safety of intrudeers but all was well. I realy enjoyed the work out area

“Easy to find”

“Greatly Exceeded Expectations”

I was given a free upgrade upon check-in. Large room had a hot tub and fireplace. Very good staff.

Arrived late and left early but Pinetop is a beautiful area in North Central Az. Modern and plenty of trees and vistas. Totally unlike the dusty areas of Winslow and Holbrook.

“Vibrating wall!”

Arrived late in the evening, just wanting to sleep. Thought the "hum" in the room was just a noisy air conditioner until I touched the wall behind the headboard and found it vibrating like one of the bad in-chair massagers. At 3am finally had the guts to ask for a new room since I couldn't sleep. Got the impression the next morning that they knew all along about the air-exchanger on the roof that was a continuous problem, but still put us in that room. In addition, lackluster "continental" breakfast, and decidedly sterile rooms.

Traveller's tip

Lots of other "locally-owned" little motels in Pinetop-Lakeside. If you can't find them online, take a chance and go anyway... You'll probably be able to find a room. We were in late July, and there were lots of "Vacancy" signs at the locally-owned places. That's what we're doing next trip through there.
