Beautiful room, friendly staff and 2 minutes from the station along a ramp, without even going in the road. McDonald's 1 minute away. Only thing is that the grout in the bathroom was mouldy and there was dirt around the chrome fixtures which could be easily cleaned. The air con outlets need a good clean as well.

Hotel locates right in front of Shin-Osaka Station and just one minute by walking. Shinkan-sen/ Bullet Train/ Midosuji Subway …More
"Staff spoke english, very helpful, very very clean and well organised, we were all very impressed"
We went in with low expectations and found out that this is a VERY nice hotel, they provide everything you need in the bathroom, house coats, slippers etc. we are very happy that we booked our stay at this hotel, we were a group of 4 adults (2couples).
Great experience at Osaka. With Kansai 3 days thru pass, we also explore Kyoto and Nara. Hotel is located at very strategic location, seriously near to train station. No hassle in term of getting here and there.
Be aware that Hotel Shin Osaka and Shin Osaka Hotel are two different hotels. I booked Shin Osaka hotel but the associated Google map shows Hotel Shin Osaka. Upon arriving at this hotel, i was told that the hotel I booked was Shin Osaka hotel which is one station away.
I booked this hotel thinking that it was a stones throw from Shin Osaka station but it ended up being a 5 minute walk from Nishinakajimaminamigata station. Ironically, this turned out to be a better location. Having stayed near Shin Osaka in the past, I always found the surrounding area to be very sterile and boring. On the other hand, the area around Nishinakajimaminamigata station is quite lively with lots of restaurants and pubs. A small price to pay for a 2 minute train ride to the south. Chances are that you'll probably be going south to Umeda anyways.
Hotel room is small, and the bathroom is even smaller, it's like you standing in a half-size bathtub for a shower, and that's it, no extra space. hotel front desk and walkway is full of smell of cigarette, we stayed on the 3rd floor, which is non smoking area, but still can smell the odor sometimes. the hotel is so small, the lobby (if that means the area when you steeping in the hotel and waiting for the front desk) is tiny, so they don't keep luggage for anyone, don't be there too early before check in time, there is no place for you to rest, and same for after check out. you can hear the train passing by outside of the window, but on the other hand, good thing is that it's very close to the train station.
