“Not impressed”
The staffs were friendly; however, the lobby is very small and crowded with people. The suite is big and comfortable, but the carpet is very dirty. The TV in the living room didn't work. The hotel is located very close to the subway station exit, but 55 minutes of subway train ride from the airport. It's equipped with kitchen, but only one plate and one set of utensils are provided. I don't think the hotel should be rated at 4 1/2 star, more likely at 3 1/2 star.
“Very spacious suite”
The suite is very spacious with comfortable furniture and beds. The televison service was also good as it had nice mix of English and Asia language channels. Another nice aspect was the flat screen TV screen which could pivot for viewing in the bedroom or into the sitting area. The location is near LuoWhu, but still requires a taxi ride. However, there is a subway station one block away. The village nearby can be accessed by walking through the highway underpass. There is a WalMart located in the village, but if you shop and buy things there, the walk back to hotel can be arduous as the sidewalks and streets are uneven. There is a nice restaurant in the Royal Towers and Suites, but if variety is desired, then choices are limited. The neighboring affiliated hotel 999 Hotel has a restaurant, but did not seem to attract many non hotel guests. I hate there and food seemed fine, the lack of crowds may be due to the time of year, August, which is not busy travel time. One awesome thing about the Royal Tower and Suties is the foreign currency exchange policy, full exchange rate based on Bank of China rates is given, there is not exchange service fee. So glad to have found this great suite via Expedia.
“I recommend this Hotel”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent room and facilities.
“Very nice boutique hotel - special offer in executive suites”
We had a very nice stay at royal suites and towers. It a nice stylish boutique hotel with very good last minute rates and lots of rewards. Furthermore the restaurants are very famous and breakfast is more than expexted (Western + Asian style). A little very nice detail: if you book a room at the executive floor, you can use this romm for 24 hours. Meaning that a C/I at 10.40pm allows you to stay until 10.40pm next day. This is very pleasant if you want to spend all day in Shenzhen. Another advice: take the hotels name in Chinese characters with you to address the cap driver!
“Comfortable and welcoming”
This hotel is not in the main centre and the taxi dropped me off at a different hotel with the same street address but the hotel was behind this one. The facilities were very good and the price was good. The ladies opening the door and on reception were very polite. The only downside is the location and the fact that you can hear road noise in the rooms but aside from that it was a hotel I would recommend.
“I really liked it”
Am afrequent traveller who us Expedia frequently to book hotels and flights. i always review travellers opinions as in most of the times reflects a fair judgement on the hotels, accordingly i have chosen this hotel. The hotel was exactely according to my expectations, it is clean, comfort, well located and more and above it has a very friendly and nice staff, just to mention one, the guests' manager Ms.Quine( from Philipine) was a good example, she was very much showing care and courtesy to all guests, it is a valuable asset to this hotel beside her other colleagues. Would definitely chose this hotel on my future visits to Shenzhen
“Will definitely go back”
The hotel was great - they had upgraded me from a "standard" to a "business" suite. So now I don't know what a standard one was like - I'll have to hope they upgrade me next time too! The only slight niggle was that the shower walls (the grouting) could have done with cleaning. Other than that it was all very good. They were helpful - most of the desk staff spoke a bit of English and when they got lost the manager spoke good English. The hotel was in the area I wanted to be in, but it is about 10 minutes taxi to the city centre (about £2 - not expensive anyway).
“A Little bit expensive!”
The only thing that I didn't like is that the hotel and especially the room smell like cigar smoke; and there where not much to see close by.
“Great Place to Stay”
Execellent place to stay and a very reason price. I had read some earlier reviews of this hotel and the one phase I remeber the most is "this is the best kept secret in China" and after staying there for almost 3 weeks, I agree. Hotel staff was very friendly and always glad to help with anything that you asked.
“Shenzhen's best hotel.”
This hotel is excellent for attentive staffs and rooms that are so clean, comfort and modern. The furniture is of high quality and beautiful interior.
