“One of the best for the price charged”

Ideal location for transport - Medical - shopping

Area recommendations
Dongmen Shopping Centre. Huaqiang Road for electronics of all sorts.
Getting there
The Subway train service is the best I have been in. Its very efficient & tickets are cheap and easy to obtain from their electronic ticket machines. And there are numerous officials all over to help with any sort of problems that may occur.
Shopping
Main shopping precinct in Shenzhen is 10 Mins. walk and main electronics shopping area is 10 Mins by taxi and even less by the Subway train. Subway station is 50 mts. from the hotel.

“Average - but requires a vast improvement”

Staff cannot speak english. Check-in takes time even though staff are shown Expedias booking print out,its in english and that causes them trouble. Room cleaning is only done at 2.00 PM even though they are asked to do it earlier because my visitors who visit me have to taken near reception so that they are not shown a unmade room. The surroundings of the hotel has been under rebuilding and there is no access to the front of the hotel by a taxi or car. So luggage has to be draged through a dirt road 50m away to the entrance.The carpets outside rooms are badly in need of replacement. Finally the two guest elevators are controlled by reception. And if they do not spot you entering one then they have to be alerted to activate the floor your room is on.

Area recommendations
There are so many hotels in Shenzhen to choose from. I leave that up to a fellow visitors choice
Getting around
Transport is very good in Shenzhen. Taxis, bus's, and the subway cover all of Shenzhen and are available at all time. And it is very cheap mode of transport. Factories to visit are located one hour from the city, and it is advisable to contact the factory to pick you up for your business with them. And remember they drive like the Americans and also when you walk anywhere, stick to the right of the footpath going forward because the Chinese tend to take their road rules onto the footpath. And more important waiting for any transport the Chinese always form a line and frown on anyone that try's breaking that tradition by barging ahead of the line.

“Not Impressed”

The carpet was needed replacement and there was construction going on right outside the hotel... some nights between 12am - 4am.

“Gute Preis-Leistung, aber renovierungsbedürftig”

Sehr dreckige Teppiche auf den Zimmern Toilette nur durch Glaswand abgetrennt Keine gute Lage, schäbige Gegend Selbst mit Taxi schwer zu finden, da niemand Englisch spricht

Taxi zur Luohu Metro-Station nehmen - riesiges Shoppingcenter, sehr günstig (man muss unbedingt handeln)
