Bathroom was dirty. Tub had soap from last patron still in it. Towels were old and dingy. Tub floor was brown. Bed was dingy.

Average hotel - great location but nothing special
We’ve stayed here many times Hotel is clean and close to shopping, restaurants, etc It can use some updating- some peeling of the Sheetrock in the bathroom, tub could use a good scrubbing. Breakfast had limited options - cheaper than going out for sure but it was ok. Would stay again

Happy to say this hotel was not musty, unlike another Shelbyville hotel and appeared clean when I got into the room. But, the room was not! I'm not sure if this room is used just for people with pets. When I pulled the covers back on one bed there was dog hair all over the bed! Good thing there was a second bed but there was some drops of red which could heve been blood???? There was a comforter in between the top cover and bed. I didn't notice until the second night that it was all yellowed and ripped. The curtains didn't close all tge so I had to be creative to close them. Lastly, the room is non smoking but on the second floor, there was a small room and someone was smoking and it filtered down into my room.

I rented multiple rooms due to family members coming to Indy to say good-bye to a very ill member. The rooms were booked last minute, but they were reasonably priced. It is an older facility, but it was very clean and everything was in working order. Night desk clerk was great.

My bathroom door did not shut properly. Very odd smell throughout the hallways. The dining area is the towel folding space. I thought that was tacky. When we asked for more pillows the housekeeper was very nice to get some, but it seemed as if the gentleman behind the counter was irritated by that request.

Overall it was not bad. It is VERY dated. Staff were all very nice. The room had a musty smoke smell when we entered. I will also say that it was not an ADA compliant location. Ring in a walking boot and on the second floor and no elevator put extra pressure on my broken leg and sprained ankle.

Dirty and in need of repairs, but nice staff
Dirty bedspread and sheets, sticky floor, nail clippings on the carpet, keycards wouldn't work in the door, A/C barely kept the room bearably cool. Staff was friendly and trying to help but not a good stay overall.

Good stay but needs improvement
The room and building was okay. Things are a bit dated and worn, but the place and room were clean, comfortable and mostly maintained. The security seemed adequate, breakfast was a good selection of options and the dining area was kept clean and stocked. An elevator would be nice. The only issues that I brought up at checkout was the safety latch/stop for the door was broke and hang by a nail, the door deadbolt did not engage or work and the bathroom exhaust fan was non functional. The room itself was clean and comfortable, good a/c and adequate channels on the TV. The staff was friendly and courteous.

We were traveling with a pet. There is a pet fee, which is no issue. However, we did not realize that by having a pet we were volunteering for a room that was dirty, smelly, and not kept current. There were cracks in the bathtub, and the room clearly was neglected. Paying a pet fee is understandable but our quality expectations remained the same.

The surrounding area was nice and close to shopping spot. The room we where in the future was run down looking the remote didnt work and we had to get keys for the room twice. The worst thing was the room had ANTS the next eveing after a very long day. We came in to relax and have dinner with a small child who freaked out. There was ANTS all over the dinning table an chairs. They were along the wall by the air unit. Not pleased at all considered the cost of the room. We will not stay there ever again.

We reserved a room and we have a pet. The hotel says is it is a pet friendly hotel. We got there, and they wouldn't let us stay because "all there pet rooms were occupied" and we didn't tell them we had a pet. There was no where on the reservation that asked to list our pet, and as it was a pet-friendly establishment, there should have been no issues. He told me and showed me the comment section of the reservation. I said that in no way ask for us to specify there about our pets. If they want to know they should have a drop down button just like they do when they ask how many adults, children, etc. We had to then go and find another hotel at 10 pm on Memorial weekend. We ended up sleeping in our vehicle.

My biggest complaint was after an 11 hour drive i had to find a different place to stay the first night of my reservation. They had no pet friendly rooms available. I booked through expedia so to change any part of the reservation had to be done through them. It was a pain. The staff was pleasant but dont assume because the site says pet friendly that they will have a pet friendly room.
