“Good hotel with excellent diving facilities”

Check in was a breeze and the service was really good. The staff spoke good English but better Italian. The place was full of Russians. The hotel dive centre have a really good set up there and overall the stay at Sol Cyrene was very good. Taxi into Sharm and Naama Bay should be around 40 and 30 Egyptian pounds respectively with the local taxis.. good luck bargaining! The beach near the hotel is good and free. You'll even see a bit snorkeling there but its better to head to sharks bay for that. I highly recommend this place!

Area recommendations
The Camel Bar in Naama Bay is a great place to hang out especially on the roof. Cheap shishas too. In Sharm Old Market there is an excellend restaurant for seafood called Sinai Stars. Walk a little further into Sharm and you'll find an old coffee shop...really local and traditional where you can play chess or backgammon enjoying the local coffee.. Also for diving, Ras Muhammed, the wreck and Dahab are all nice.
Getting around
Taxi, bargain with them, there are so many so just walk away if they don't give you a good deal.

“Geilen Säcke”

Die schamlose Aufdringlichkeit des örtlichen Hotelpersonals ist nervig. Sie gaffen den weiblichen Hotelgästen nach. Schrecken auch vor eindeutigen angeboten nicht zurück.....
