“Great Hotel”
Very impressed with this hotel! Located in Namma Bay and a 10 minute walk from the centre. Our room had a beautiful view over the sea and was kept spotless as it was cleaned on a daily basis and all towels changed daily. Beach/pool towels are provided and the hotel has 5 private beaches and a beautiful big pool to choose from. The hotel staff were excellent and very polite. The grounds of the hotel are kept immaculate and the resort is guarded at entrances and exits so that only residents can enter. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.
“Best location in Sharm El Sheikh”
Stayed at this hotel 4 nights Nov. 11-15, 2011. This is most likely the second best Hotel in Sharm (after the Four seasons!). Definitely the best location in Sharm. Spectacular view and all rooms have sea view. Excellent snorkeling (better than most other hotels). i went diving 3 days and I must admit that the snorkeling right at the hotel was better than my dives! The hotel is in a quiet area but only 10 minutes walk to the new "city" of Sharm via the boardwalk. There is a superb Indian restaurant. If you are used to Sofitel, this one is not offering the same level of luxury that you may be expecting. However, for the location, the snorkeling and tranquility, this hotel is perfect.
“Not what you would expect!!!”
Ive stayed at numerous Sofitel Hotels and this was perhaps the worst one. The hotel is old and rooms are not well maintained. The service from staff is poor. They were not attentive and did not go out of the way to cater to guests. The location overlooking the Red Sea is quite pretty but apart from that, there arent any other features to brag about for this hotel.

would have picked a different hotel as we were single guys going to party, more of a couples hotel amazing resort. just a little far from all the action in sharm
“Great value for money!”
Great value for money.! Location excellent- even better than more expensive hotels. The more expensive e.g.Hyatt and Jolie Ville are more private but also more isolated so you have to take a taxi everywhere. Sofitel is at the end of Naama Bay, private and quiet but you can walk the promenade around the bay and easily access the other hotels and restaurants and the night life of the area. The other beaches on Naama Bay are very busy, even the Marriott . There are several small beaches on the large compound of the hotel and they are quiet and clean . The coral reef is just off the beach so you can snorkel and enjoy the fish and warm water with ease. There is a jetty and diving centre on the compound.Rooms are adequate in size neither big nor small, ensuite has a large shower, no bath. Shampoo provided but no conditioner. Electric outlets 3 round pins.There is a lot of walking as the property is so large and a lot of steps so it is not wheelchair friendly.We had bed and breakfast plan. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety to cater for many nationalities, majority Russian and German.3 main dining areas for evening dinner- always a buffet available but too much food and expensive so we tried out many restaurants in the area. Found great fish restaurant in Naama Bay.We stayed Mar 12 -16 2010, WEATHER PERFECT- SUBNSHINE EVERY DAY.Would go again !

“Beautiful views, lovely beaches”
This was my first time to Charm el Sheikh but it won't be my last. The hotel's rooms are arranged in a vast semi-circle and fall in tiers to a clover-leaf pool and private beaches. Swimming among coral & tropical fishes is magic! There are 4 restaurants but easily the best is the Indian cuisine one. No criticisms really. Perhaps slightly old-fashioned styling and I was annoyed the internet in my room didn't work. The IT Manager helped me get wireless though which was good service. Nigel
