Stayed for a week at the Savoy Sharm in a Garden View Suite. The Hotel was first class. The room was excellent, the hotel facilities and in particular the staff were of the highest standard.
Our only criticism was that some of the food and drink in the hotel's many restaurant was a little expensive and was less consistently excellent than other elements of the hotel. Exceptions to this were the burgers, which were very good and the food at the Seafood restaurant by the beach, which was suburb.
I could not recommend this place high enough for those wanting a high quality, relaxing beach hotel.

Very good hotel experience and friendly, attentive staff (especially Ali & Mohammed at the front desk). Only negatives: the bank ATM ate my debit card and it took 2 days to get back (not the hotel's fault) and the quality of the food (mediocre at best).

A boutique hotel with a small number of unique rooms. We saw two rooms (ours and our friends') and they were both nicely decorated and very pleasant to stay in, but were a little impractical in parts with some low doors or ceilings and some poor lighting in parts.
We arrived into a tranquil atmosphere and warm welcome from the hotel staff and were presented with a nice glass of hibiscus juice. We were a party of six consisting of two couples and two teenagers. All three rooms were very spacious and well thought through, with a great dressing room area, and separate sitting area, as well as the very roomy bedroom. All rooms have a pool view with either a personal balcony or terrace area in which to sit and relax. The pool area is serviced throughout the day with clean towels and also has very comfortable sun beds.
Throughout our stay of two weeks there was consistency in the attention to detail and it was clear that every member of staff worked well and pre-empted the needs of their guests.
The restaurant was fronted by the excellent Tito and his dedicated team, all food and drinks were very tasty, with a varied menu including pizzas made from a proper pizza oven. Glasses, utensils, and crockery were immaculate.
All members of staff exuded a passion and pride in the Sheikh Ali Hotel and were always looking for ways to exceed their guests expectations. Their award of best hotel in Dahab is still very much well deserved. Thank you Sheikh Ali.

From the starting at reception , the hotel use ignorant receptionist they do know any thing about tourism and the basic of hotel business , they d,not trust booking through expedia and want to charge more than the booking price , we stay more than 1.5 hours before we find our rooms after we tell them that we are going to call the police , the food is the worst food and I doubt that they have any professional person in their stuff, I d'not recommend stay in hotels like that and suggest that expedia and other booking sites should drop this hotel from their list

First off if you want to learn to dive or are a diver who has never visited Dahab, go book your holiday here immediately. If you don't you will be making a mistake you'll regret for the rest of your life! I've just come back from a solo visit to the Tropitel, learned to dive with Kerstin of the Lagona dive centre and had a truly excellent holiday. The thing which makes this place special is the staff, they will bend over backwards to resolve any problems you might have and will do their best to make you feel welcome and happy. The main thing is to say something as soon as it becomes a problem, once you do you'll be impressed with how quickly action is taken. If you want a lot of nocturnal activity and animation teams then probably best book somewhere else because the Tropitel doesn't have any of those. However, if you want a peaceful and relaxing pool holiday, or some of the best diving anywhere on the planet, then you can do a lot worse. I could nitpick about minor stuff with the food and the room but I'm not going to because none of it really mattered to me enough to say anything. I never went hungry and found the room clean and comfortable. The house reef means there's no easy access to the sea from the beach, but just go snorkelling there once and you'll soon realise that what you get more than makes up for it. In terms of location the transfer to Sharm is about an hour but it means you get no noise at from the airport. Like I said, peaceful and friendly.
