This hotel is beautiful and reasonably priced! I loved the vibe and decor. The pool was nice, the beach is shallow and had lots of schools of fish. There is a nice reef for snorkeling.
If there were zero stars as a rating that is what I would have given to Lido hotel at Sharm El Sheikh. Although my expectations were set low , this hotel did manage to disappoint me further on all aspects.
- Accommodations: I have purchased 6 day beach front suite which was very outdated, and needed many renovations. The furniture was very old and dirty, full of awful stains. The bed was very hard and the pillows were smelly. First night the air conditioning was not working .The curtains were coming out of their tracks. Other than the entertaining but useless towel sculptures the house keeping needs to be vastly improved, all furniture updated.
- Breakfast: awful, awful. Coffee machine was broken and the breads were stale and of very poor quality. The egg bar was ok , but nothing special to write about. The variety was minimal. They even ran out of strawberry jam.
- Customer Service : This one tops the list . Starting from the reception, the personnel were very unhelpful and rude. During a dispute about second guest in the suite, they treated us with disrespect, creating a full-on confrontation, raising their voices in front of other guests. We ended up in the tourism police to resolve the dispute.
Although we did not stay in the hotel for any reason other than to sleep and have breakfast during our diving vacation, they managed to ruin our visit with extremely rude behaviour . Do not stay in this hotel

thank you for your comment but unfortunately it is not true all this started when your friend finished her stay and she moved to live with you for free in the your suit and you went to police not us and this not acceptable to book one and stay two then if you have any problem you could ask us to solve it in the spot otherwise no need to force yourself to stay in a hotel where many problems as you mentioned any way you are most welcome at any time but through the right channels.

That property is a nightmare. Partying at midnight from 12am-3am. When you complain, they justify they have a permit from the ministry of tourism.
This is my second time staying at the Lido Sharm it’s a small hotel. The staff here are excellent, the rooms are clean, they have a good laundry service, the food is very good, it’s in a quiet area, it’s next to the Naama bay boat jetty where the Dive boats leave from.

Lido is in a fantastic location. Very close to many dive shops and one of the main harbors. The reception staff was amazing and worked hard to help me with all my little problems.

Lido Sharm Hotel is close to Naama Bay center, Diving center nearby and had its own beach. The hotel is a bit old but very well maintained. The food is fresh and excellent, every meal has fresh grill outside.
The staff is very well trained and customer service is excellent. Hotel provide shuttle bus to/fro airport - 25 euro per 2 persons one way.
We had an excellent holiday at this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent ... and the staff were friendly ... and the food was varied and good ... I go to this hotel every year ... but there was a malfunction in the room conditioning and they tried hard to fix it and honestly they were willing to change the room but I refused
Nice hotel just by the sea.sea is wonderful as expected.Food is ok but a bit spicy. There was always chicken meat and fish at the same time.clean and quiet hotel

I have stayed Naama Bay area plenty of times but the first time at Lido hotel due to my friend taking a package holiday there. Although a 4* hotel I found the hotel to be comfortable and satisfactory. Staff a big plus, very helpful on reception, Ahmed in the buffet restaurant very attentive as was both Mohamed at beach bar and Mohamed supplying the beach towels and beds.

my booking was garden view was given a garage view,to up grade hade to pay 140 us dollars,even the hotel had many rooms empty infact half of the hotel was empty,the buffet food specialy the salads was recyled from the food of day before,they charge me 30us dollars for my cab to return to the airport wich cost 12 us dollars to go from the airport to the hotel when i arrived,other wise beach is amusing and view was wondrefull ,waiters were helpfull and polite,maybe i will return to this hotel but i will orgnize evrything
Perfect location for enjoying the diving area (very close to the jetty where the diving boats depart in the morning) as well as the nightlife of Na’ama Bay. Very clean and with impeccable friendly service. This time I girly a room on the pool floor (actually, the top floor) and it was great
Wonderful location close to the sea. I did dive with the divsenter at the hotel. Good equipment and great service. Hassan were an excellent guide under water. Ahmed did also take very well care of me and served me chilled white wine at sunset time. I came to Sharm to to relax and get energy. Lido did deliver and I am now back in Nigeria recharged and ready to work.

Absolutely Horrible!!
I had such a terrible experience with this hotel. They had a problem with the Hotels.com reservation and I had to wait over 2 hours for a room and on top of that they double charged me. The check in guy was rude and didn't pay attention when he talked to me. I had many, many issues with the hotel, the manager Sayed is abrupt and never offered anything for my many inconveniences, he just wanted to charge me more. The wifi is non existent, it's extremely noisy in the rooms and they need to be updated. The food and beverage manager Adel was extremely helpful and does a great job. It was a horrendous introduction to Egyptian hospitality and service. I would never stay here again and would suggest that you look for a different hotel.
It was broken doorknob of balcony. They started repairing after our check in. They killed our precious time of my vacation. After all, door cannot going well. Still broken. The staff has no skill and appropriate judgement to solve the accident.

This hotel was a disaster! I strongly don't recommend it for tourists.
It was vary noisy, local kids running between rooms shouting and screaming! We called reception but they didn't do any thing.
The food was awful and always finishes before you can start.
Staff came inside my room while we were a sleep to take the "iron machine"!
Local Loud party in front of our room suddenly at night without informing gusts! So basically you cant sleep day and night!
Beds are not clean and not comfortable!
I strongly dont recommend this hotel.

it takes time to come back to you but this was to investigate correctly your complaint and it is time to get back to you , sure your complain make us very sad but we wish to clear something during your stay you did not not mentioned any of what you mentioned here in your comments and you was happy that is why you put a good comments about the hotel on 27th- Jan at expedia site under Lido Page with the name of Tariq Abouali appreciating everything , your opinion about us changed after the car case which we have nothing to do with there was another guest booked the car on the same time and they delay was by the other guests not by the hotel so we were sorry and can't help on that and the closing of namma bay area is out of our hand and we trying to do our best to send our car to pick our guest unless the car is not available .

the negatives was the WiFi was down all 5 days couldn't send photos
back home. We had the breakfast included in our package, when we
got there we opted to up grade to include dinner too. 1st day at dinner
I asked for a glass of water and was denied my booking was not
'all inclusive' I was informed so my glass of water had to be a purchased
bottle of water and had to sign for it to be booked to my room then
I got my water. An amazing dinner buffet that doesn't include any kind
of drink not water not coffee. Breakfast had unlimited coffee or tea and
water and milk for cereal. What's the difference?
Super hotel in a fab position. Rooms are a good size with a lovely sized balcony to chill out on! Hotel staff are super friendly and nothing is too much for them. We stayed b&b.. Breakfast was good, looking over the bay. We went for a diving break-and the central position of this hotel was perfect!! Only down side was the noise that travelled over the bay at night-but the ac can drown it out!! All rooms have a sea view.
GREAT HOLIDAY AT THE LIDO . ALL STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND NOTHING SEEMED TOO MUCH TROUBLE.MAKRAM AT THE POOL WAS EXCELLENT HE COULDNT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU. LOVELY POSITION WITH MOST OF THE ROOMS HAVING SEA VIEW. WE WOULD MOST CERTAINLY RETURN
I chose this place for its location for my 18 night stay in February to complete my dive instructor course and took the B&B option. The room was more than ample with a terrace, TV, big bathroom, hot hot shower and a big double bed that was as commfortable as any other I have slept in and most importantly an air con unit that I had to turn off because I was TOO COLD! On the value for money front, it really was tops. I expected cheap and cheerful but ended up with mid range and very cheerful. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything. The food is good, the pool area very cool, reception incredibly helpful. I WILL USE THIS PLACE AGAIN On the down side the decor was a little tired, on some nights the noise from other resorts could be a bit much and the room safe was not big enough to get my laptop in.
This is a good hotel if you want to relax. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Just beware that if you are a snorkeling fan then you will be disappointed as there are no reefs at that location.
I have spent one week at the Lido Iberotel and I really recommend it. The location is really amazing if you like a sea view room, the roof pool is a real surprise and offers you one of the best views of Sharms and its surroundings.
The staff was great, very professional and helpful. Great cleanliness.
The limitations was on the breakfast which has a large choice of option but is a bit weak in terms of breads and juces. The beach is not too big but ok. I only recommend the hotel to be careful with excurssionns' offers. I found the dolphine visit, expensive and with no correspondence between price and value. The hotel should provide correct information on activities even if they are not managed by them.
