“Not impressed”

Hotel was too big, it was tired and desperately needed a make over, the bathroom was dirty with an old mucky shower curtain, staff at breakfast were rude and disinterested, it was liek being in a school canteen andthe food was absolutely awful. Luckily we only had breakfast there. The prices for food and drink were extortionate most things did not have a set price and it seemed a bit random what the waiter will put on your bill, also at the end on the hotel bill on checking out they try to add extra on for service which we had to argue to have taken off. Overall very disappointed in a hotel which does not in any way whatsoever live up to its namesake.

The employees are not friendly and they dont want to be helpful. They prefer to create a problem rather than solving a problem. The reception cannot speak fluent english which makes the overall stay even harder because generally u-you need to course almost all things through them. The hot water was not running in the room and even though we made several calls nobody came to fix it. But the rooms were clean and the location of the hotel was very good. Access to the beach was very comfortable just a few minutes walking distance away. Considering the price, the hotel is ok but over rated.

“4 day trip at Sharm”

“The Staff were a credit to the hotel!”

We booked the trip as a cheap weeks break from work so we could relax and spend some time with our Daughter. We got exactly what we wanted! The hotel is advertised as a 5 star but living in Dubai I have come to expect a bit more from 5 stars...this was maybe a 4 star but still very nice and clean. The hotel we were told was only at 10% occupancy due to the recent issues in the area which was actually a benefit to us as we got sunbeds by the pool no matter what time of day we decided to go (no need to get up at the crack of dawn to claim a sunbed with our towel!!). Most people there were staying all inclusive and limited themselves to eating only in the main restaurant, we didn't go all inclusive and took advantage of the Mexican restaurant on 2 occasions as well as renturing down to the main Naama bay area and going to TGI's and Hard Rock. There's also a lovely promenade down by the beach (accessable by crossing the road and walking through the other Hilton) which is lined with many more restaurants with BBQ's and fresh seafood. Our room was cleaned everyday and the cleaners left a beautiful display of origami towels and flowers on our beds, much to the delight of my 4 year old who loved the swan!

Now my 3rd stay in Sharm and another lovely hotel with good access to the main area and mainly good service from all of the staff. The restaurants were fabulous (even for the fussiest of eaters) and the staff in them were very accommodating. Breakfast was good on the B & B package. If you are looking for a taste of the U.K., I most highly recommend the Nemo Fish and Chip bar on the main strip. They even sell even includes mushy peas & gravy, with recipes from Blackpool! The one thing that let it down was the extremely time consuming check-out process. Taking over an hour to move the bags and work out the room bill was quite a surprise and somewhat stressful, especially as we were being told that it was all in hand and sent to wait and then when we checked nothing had started! We liked the choice of pools, with the option of quiet or random 70's and '80s tunes to accompany your Cosmo.

Amazing value for a Hilton Hotel. Enjoyed walking the grounds for photos. Staff friendly and efficient. Buffet Breakfast unbelievable. Will definitely book again.

“3 1/2 Star Hotel”

My stay at the hotel was good. I enjoyed it but I would to see the hotel renovate the rooms. Check-in was quick and people at reception were nice. The reception is beautiful, and the breakfast is good. The service is great. But I thought for a 5-Star hotel, the condition for the rooms should be better. The room was average. Bathroom looks old and needs maintenance. Mattress and sheets are bad. Outside the room, swimming pools are nice and the location of the hotel is close to the market and shops. I went their with my family. I think it is a quiet and a nice place to stay if you want to stay away from the noise close to the beach.

“Good Time Overall”

Suite was beautiful, grounds are gorgeous. Highly recommend the Tex Mex restaurant....good prices and fantastic food! :) Two things: Mattresses are very hard (I have been in 2 different rooms and both were very hard), and, shower room wasn't available as promised after checkout. All in all, I would recommend the hotel as everything else was great.
