Excellent customer service, felt like royalty. Good restaurant withinh hotel and in soho square.
Two complaints- drains in bathroom smelt a bit and fruit options at breakfast were very limited, not the exotic choices I expected.
The hotel resort is well run with a close eye kept on it by the owner, which is always a good sign. The food for an all inclusive was well presented with a wide variety. During the stay you are also able to book into the Italian and the Indian restaurants which are on site as part of your all inclusive, you can then choose to eat there at your own expense on another evening if you so wish. I loved the fact that there are 'quiet areas' for adults only, including an swimming pool, so that helped to add to the overall relaxing experience. The hotel has 5 pools at present but increasing to 7. The spa area was well run, and in particular Samur is a great therapist.

This is our 4th visit to the hotel. The staff are great and growing in awareness and attention to detail around diet restrictions - they managed to work around a gluten free diet very well this time. In general the staff are extremely professional and genuinely warm and friendly. The hotel itself is in lovely condition and the grounds are very impressive.
The issue that we had with this visit was putting us in an apartment adjacent to several that were going through major refurbishment. I realize that ongoing maintenance needs to happen to keep the hotel up to the high standard that they have set, but having builders, the smell of paint, and vehicles/workers coming and going from early morning until evening was not great. The hotel was probably no more than 25% occupied so I really don't understand why they could not plan the apartments used for guests to be away from these disturbances?
This unfortunate circumstance would not put me off booking again at the hotel; I just hope that their management is monitoring this kind of feedback and take steps to improve their approach to planning.
This hotel is beautiful especially the pool area. It over looks a nice beach and ocean. The hotel is massive and although we weren't, if your room is in a block near the entrance, it's a good walk to the pool area.
The pool/bar staff were excellent ensuring you had a lounger and towels and always were cheery and asking if we were having a good day. We had a few issues however.
Firstly the promised daily bottle of water to your room was often forgotten, the main public toilets by the pool had a stench to it and construction improvements were taking place with no prior warning ie drilling etc.
The buffet selection was small and repetitive although it improved during our stay. The annoying thing was having to chase waiters to get a drink as there was no tea/coffee machine available for yourself.
We were on an 'Ultra all inclusive' package and still not everything was included which was really bizarre.
Hotel entertainment was truly awful and if you didn't fancy a drink at night there really was nothing to do.
One good thing to note was a family birthday though and the hotel prepared some tables. Looked after U.S. and provided a brilliant cake. Like I said, very hit and miss overall. The good was great and the bad was bad.

We Returned to this hotel as we loved it so much last time 2 years ago. It has slightly gone down hill since then on the food front and some areas of the pool that have been damaged and not fixed. To their credit they did start fixing some areas when we were there and cordoned off the Jacuzzi Area
Rooms are Huge & clean. House keeping is fantastic and ALWAYS given clean towels.
Air Conditioning in the rooms are fantastic.
In Room bottled water policy has changed since last visit. Used to be free and replenished by house keeping everyday. Now they only give you the first bottle free and charge every other day if you use it. They expect you to refill the first bottle you used through out your holiday at a water vending machine before you go bed.
They have become tighter with the ALL INCLUSIVE option. Its still great, you get local alcohol soft drinks tea and coffee. However no free ice-cream. Only for kids between 3pm-5pm. It should be made available all day for everyone. There used to be burgers and pizzas during the day at the Pool Bar but now they only do pancakes... again cutting costs.
Most the foods they do are repetitive and a lot of processed food. This I would assume would be to cut costs. All juices from concentrate. Great selection of desserts though, especially if you like Carb City.
No Gluten Free Options.
Mobility impaired People will struggle to use the BEACH facilities where there are a lot of steep stairs that goes down to a man made beach on the a Jetti.

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at the resort. We enjoyed exercising (both the stretching out in the grass and the workout room), snorkeling, relaxing at the pool, and the food. It was very nice to have a special dinner date at the Italian restaurant - the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful the whole week. This is our third visit and we will be back. The only downside that I would say is the buffet - we missed fresh fruit (they did have a little but not enough for us), some of the meat dishes were overcooked, and we were getting tired of carrots and zucchini everyday. Saying that though, we still had plenty of eat!!
