Nice hotel close to Pudong Airport

Posted 09-Aug-2014
Pros: Wifi, breakfast, proximity to airport.
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: airport, train to Shangai
This hotel provided an excellent time between flights. The room has all the amenities that I was expecting. Surprisingly the I had wifi signal on my room which was a plus because the only hotspot was at the lobby. Great buffet breakfast. Highly recommended. It was located approximately 10 minutes from the airport.

Hotel close to airport but needs to improve servic

Posted 09-Aug-2014
Pros: Hotel provides a shuttle service to/from the airport every half an hour, which is helpful if you need to go to city center via metro/subway line #2.
Cons: Hotel should give payment receipt, even if booking is made via Expedia.com. The hotel should monitor & receive complaints about their massage service.
I took this hotel only because my flight was very early in the morning, and therefore, rather than paying a taxi from downtown to the hotel, at 3 am at night, I booked this hotel. The staff is not very comfortable in English, and they didn't gave me the payment receipt although I insisted a lot, because I needed the payment proof for the reimbursement, but they asked me to get it from Expedia !!! Another bad experience was with their massage service: after a tiring visit of the city, I asked for the foot massage only but they said that it is close and only the body massage is available ... I reluctantly accepted this expensive body massage. But during the massage, the massagist was more concentrated on offering me even more expensive options rather than focusing and doing her job. As I didn't accepted that expensive option, she finished the body massage in 25 minutes !!! I think it was a total dissapointment and wastage of money :-(

Close to airport

I arrived just in time for last shuttle bus at 1.30 am. It was raining and windy. The hotel does not provide umbrella upon arrival. The counter staff speaks little english. As it was just for a short stay, the hotel is just nice. Shuttle bus every 30 mins was a plus point.

Comfortable, but very quiet.

Posted 27-Jun-2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Both the upstairs and downstairs restaurants were more than adequate. Food was good, and not expensive.
Cons: The shuttle bus could be used to take guests to shopping centres, etc. as well as to and from the airport.
Location: I had no vehicle to use to get around, so all I could do was stay at the hotel. There was nothing of any interest in walking distance.
The staff seems to be the biggest asset of this hotel. All were very helpful and friendly, and did their best to overcome language differences.

Convenient and affordable but starting to show age

Posted 06-Jun-2014
Pros: Good price, easy to get to from airport.
Cons: Would have liked WiFi in the room.
Location: 8 minute drive from the airport. There is a museum on site that I didn't visit. I'd use this hotel for a transit hotel.
The hotel is very convenient to the airport, with free shuttles running every half hour both to and from the hotel. The hotel was once very nice, but it is getting a bit shopworn due to age. The room was a nice size, and everything worked well. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and knew enough english to support me. There was free internet in the rooms, but no free WiFi in the rooms (but there was free WiFi available in the lobby).

Efficient overnight stay hotel near airport.

Posted 26-May-2014
Make sure you buy sandwiches or instant noodles or any food at the airport if you are coming after 9pm and leaving before 7am. The restaurant is terrible. The shuttle was efficient, (but remember to look for the shuttle stop at the airport in advance - most of the airport staff don't speak English) and check in/out was smooth. The room carpet and fixtures were worn - but the bed and pillows were comfortable. For a place to sleep overnight, this worked out just fine.

Close To The Pudong Airport

Posted 14-May-2014
Pros: Shuttle service
Cons: Get a english speaking receptionist/customer service
Location: Nothing is attractive nearby.
I had to syay there for 4 days since I was new to that place. Langguage is the main barrier. Most of them cant understand simple English. Sometimes you have to use sign langguage. This hotel is nearest to the airport and they have shuttle service every 30 min util 1.30am. Quite convenience in term of transport as the shuttle service passes by subway. Cost effective. Meals is a proble as this hotel is considered to be located at a rural area. No restaurants or stalls nearby. Apart from that, it is good place to stay.
