“Can't wait to go back, the best hotel in its price range.”
The hotel is centrally located, you can go any where in Shanghai in few minutes , the taxi service and metro line is very handy. There is shanghai's biggest clothing market just less then 50 yards away, you can get made to measure suit for men and women, in one day, and do remember to heggal the price, the hotel is very neat and very close all you need, th ebusiness distric of Pu-dong is about 20 minutes in taxi and only abourt 30 RMB ( chineese yen ) The Pu-dond airport is only 45 minutes and about 160 RMB, I thing we were lucky to be ib that hotel and when i booked i did discuss with one of the operator of Expedia, i was surprised to see the location of the hotel. I recommend every body who go to Shanghai. Many thanks to Expedia for this hotel.
“Look for another one”
Good location, bad hotel, blankets and towels with holes
“Perfectly fine hotel for exploring Shanghai”
The hotel was fine for our purposes: not too expensive, not too tricky to get to and clean and modern. The staff were always helpful. The room was of a good size and recently refurbished. The one issue really is that the pool/gym actually do not belong to the hotel but are part of a nearby sport centre. Given language difficulties, this put me off using these facilities. However, the local area is ideal for jogging in, if that is your thing. 5 mins from Nanpu Bridge station.
“Very good value for money”

“Good for business stay, maybe, not for vacationers”
The price was right, and the quality of the service and the amenities was great, it was clean, there was even a laundry machine available for use - which was appreciated because the cost of having a hotel do your laundry is ridiculous if you have any amount of laundry to do. However, the only complaint, and it is significant, is the size of our room was TINY. I can't understate this - it was amazing how many things they cramped into such a small space. Like I said, it was nice, but when my knees didn't fit in the bathroom, which was about a foot away from the bed, it made it a bit uncomfortable for a vacation stay. Maybe for a business stay if I was by myself, but having both my wife and myself made it quite cramped. I liked the location because it was walking distance to the city and a subway stop which can take you anywhere, and just around the corner is a lower-rent area where you can get authentic Chinese food right off the street - although some people might shy away from such treats if you aren't used to them. Don't be afriad, but do be careful what you eat! If you are looking for a nice stay for a nice price and don't want to be right smack in the middle of downtown, but close to it, this would be a good stay for a business trip.
“Dissapointed”
Clerks barely speak English, and not polite, beds like rocks, only one restaurant with Chinese food only. remote controls in Chinese language only. This cannot be a 4 star hotel.
“Nothing special”
simply dull
“If you like sleeping on a bookshelf..”
Me and my husband stayed at RSNH for 10 days and we were really satisfied for what we got for our money, money well spent. For example you get 1 L of bottled water every day (complimentary) brought to your room and that is a great thing so one doesn´t have to carry water every day from the store. The only thing we can really complain about is that the matressess are as hard as a bookshelf. But that is common in chinese hotels I´m told.
“Great Value”
Located next to the Soft Spinning Material Market, in between two metro lines, bank and a supermarket. The beds are hard. Overall this hotel exceeded all expectations and is a great value.
“cool place”
cool place near at walking distance to metro transportation. rooms are clean and big.. good price! good value! highly recommended! make sure u get the chinesse direction also or else taxi driver might drive u a round for a while
