Dissapointed that bedsheets were not changed during whole stay 5 night! Room was smelly and looked a bit run down. The aircon rather noisy and a nearby construction site noise was too much.

The reason I am rating this Oakwood a 1-star is because of the night front desk staff. She was extremely rude~I have never encountered a hotel staff this rude and I travel a lot for work and pleasure! For almost $250/night hotel, I wasn't expecting this terrible service. We got to the hotel late at night (almost midnight) to check in after a long flight. We're a family of 4 (2 kids of 11 and 16 years old). It is our first time in Shanghai so we had a few questions about the area but she said she doesn't speak English (and did not even try to help answer any of our concerns). We also had a flight to Beijing early morning, and we had to leave the hotel at 5 am. This same rude front desk staff was so upset because we had to wake her up to ask for help with a taxi to the airport. I will not stay here again~very disappointing for we stayed at other Oakwood in different Asian countries and the service was so much better than this one in Shanghai.

Not bad, but a bit far (10-12 min walk) from MTR station
Room was ok sized. Hotel is in desperate need for an update (don't let the pictures fool you). The ventilation is very poor in the room. Hotel location is not convenient. Overall do not stay if you don't have to.
Stayed at Oakwoods' 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment looked nothing like the photos on the website so that was very disappointing. But were still very nice. The description says 3 king size beds but realistically the apartment had one master bedroom with a king size bed and the other rooms were very small with much smaller double beds, which would not be very comfortable for two.
Staff and service was very good, with really helpful and polite people.
The Hotel is conveniently located and you could go anywhere in almost 20 mins.
I like the service apartment. Utensils were clean, bathroom good condition. Washing machine/dryer was very good condition. However when I checked out, the service was very fair. The front desk staff looked sloppy. One of the staff ( a young man) was disheveled looking, had his coat draped on the chair and looked as if he just woke up. The other staff (lady) was working at slow rate. The front desks allow other checking out clients (local clients, not foreign) to cut queue while I queued for a good 10 mins. When it comes to my turn, I was asked to hand in the key card & leave and they will do the check out (cancellation of deposit) later -( like what they would do to the cut-queue clients,) in my absence! What an unsatisfying and disappointing way to conclude an excellent stay! Your staff looks demotivated and unhappy at front desk. I had better check out experience in 2-3 star hotels in China. I hope you will improve your service, after all you are a 5-star internationally branded hotel.
conveniently located, close to pudong and shops. free breakfast and wifi were nice even though the menu could be improved. kind hotel staff but spoke very little English.

오크우드라길래 기대하고 갔는데 정말 별로였어요
방은 넓고 큰데 주방이나 테이블 등등 먼지에 위생상태가 별로였고 특히 욕실은 벽도 지저분하고 물때가 껴있어서 샤워하기 꺼려질 정도였습니다
수건도 바꿔줬는데 자국있는 지저분한 수건이 오기도 했구요
지역자체가 레지던스 지역이라 외국인 투숙객 거의 없고 중국분들이 장기투숙하는 레지던스, 아파트 느낌이었습니다. 조식도 그럭저럭이었는데 거의가 중국인 노인부부들이더라구요 ㅡㅡ
근처에 있는 지하철 11호선은 지옥철입니다 출퇴근시 이용시 넘 사람이 많고 혼잡한 노선이었어요

Laxuary facilitates, the room is large and nice view. Receptionists are polite and good service.
However the hotel location on the map of Expedia is totally different place.Hope to revise it.

Appartamento bello e grande, ma un po' vecchio: un po' di odore di chiuso e qualche piccolo insetto (forse tarme). Il lavandino aveva lo scolo molto lento. Trovato anche qualche capello di donna in bagno. q
Quindi la manutenzione e le pulizie potrebbero essere migliorate. Nel complesso non male.
