Overall a beautiful property, after so many years away because of COVID, nice to return, I could have done without the sour-faced lobby security guard in the suit staring everyone down as they walked through the lobby. It's a hotel, not a jewelry store with the crown jewels on display!

Breakfast was great, staff was extremely helpful. Very clean and writhin walking distance. There is always a taxi outside. And there wasent a language barrier problem.

I had specially booked a room on the club level because I wanted to use the beautiful club lounge. Unfortunately, this was not available as it was exclusive to the government. There was no information about this in advance, so I booked and paid for something I couldn't use. The sauna area is getting on in years and not in the condition you would expect in a hotel of this class. The relax loungers in the sauna area were the most uncomfortable loungers I have ever lain on. Club lounge and spa were the two main reasons for booking at the hotel, unfortunately unsatisfactory. The massage in the spa area was excellent.

Super friendly staff, excellent and speedy check-in and a great location. Room service was super-fast! The only drawback I saw - hard to get a good cappuchino! :-)

I just left, but would be back soon!
Took few days off to relax and connect with friends and chose the Grand Kempinski as a recommendation from a good friend. I was not disappointed 😉 The service is very good and the staff is friendly at all their facilities... The breakfast buffet has a great variety from fresh fruits, to pastry, classic and tasty omelette also vegetables, congee and noodles for to those catering to the Asian taste... The pool, spa and gym area enjoy beautiful views of the Pearl tower, the Huangpu river and other sights of Pudong! The Havana bar on the 30th floor is amazing for early evening drinks or night cap, great music, expansive views and friendly staff. If you care about lounges, book a room with access to the executive lounge to enjoy the happy hour there in an exclusive and calm environment... I just left, but would be back soon!

I loved the breakfast buffet because of the wide variety and grrt quality of the food. I also enjoyed the location. We wanted to stay near the Oriental Pearl Tower and this was a perfect 5 minute walk away with great access to shops and fun things along the way!

This was an amazing and luxurious room. The view to the water on entering the room was breathtaking. The location is excellent and in the downtown business area (so great for business), shopping centre (so your spouse/kids/family) wont be bored. Staff mostly speaks English (for the language challenged as I am) and to say the service is white glove VIP treatment is quite an understatement (they remember your name and your room!). It is easily my favorite hotel and room in all my years of business travel so far

I made a double reservation and i wrote a claim refund money of one booking to hotels.com and hotel management agreed that they ll refund the money if you inform them i can not send you aan email because of your email adress it is directing me to the main menu of hotels.com

This hotel lives up to its reputation of a grand luxury hotel . The Havana Room on the top floor is a bit dreary compared to Flair at the Ritz. But the gym and pool are quite nice. And you can also eat outside on patio for breakfast. Rooms are just fine . Nice showers too ! Don’t use their in house laundry service : yiu can new clothes for the same price !!!

The director of the hotel, a wonderful Cuban gentleman, was such an incredible resource, who made us feel at home. The Spanish restaurant in the hotel is magnificent, as is everything about the location.
