Great price especially when you have a short stay. The pool in the summer months. Great end to a long day.

We have stayed here a number of times

Posted 05-Nov-2013
Pros: It is convenient to the Selinsgrove area and has always met our needs.
Cons: Some of the rooms are in need of upgrading.
Location: It close to shopping and Susquehanna University.
We have always found the accommodations acceptable. This time our room was tired. Not really clean, mold on the bathroom ceiling, but the sheets were clean, so we didn't think too much of it. Later, our neighbors moved in with 2 dogs - don't get me wrong - I have a dog and like that this a pet friendly hotel, but we didn't get much sleep. The next morning we requested to change rooms and were given a suite which was very comfortable. We appreciated the staff giving us the new room.

Vacation Success

Posted 03-Sep-2013
Pros: It is near my relatives that live in the area.
Cons: the continential breakfast. It was breads and cereal. Lots of carbs.
Location: I have lots of family in the area: Sunbury, Selinsgrove, Danville, Northumberland, and Shamokin. It isn't that far to Elysburg to Knobels.
It was a vacation away from the day to day activities of a busy life. I enjoyed the day by the pool relaxing. The room was clean, the A/C worked wonderfully, the only thing I thought could be better was the continential breakfast. It was breads and cereal. Lots of carbs.

Close to Family function.

Posted 31-Aug-2013
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Breakfast area could have been cleaner. I felt sorry for the Lady working.
Location: Visit Family in New Berlin.
Toilet seat was very loose, we had to tighten it so we didn't get pinched. Breakfast wasn't the best. Nothing hot was served.

Probably the worst hotel we ever stayed in.

Posted 26-Aug-2013
Pros: Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Management that takes pride in the motel and is willing to provide people with a clean and enjoyable stay.
Rooms very dirty. Pool full of algae. Restaurant was so dirty we were not willing to neat there. Lack of staff resulted in front desk supplying me with a plunger to unclog the toilet in our room. Bottom line, would not recommend this hotel to anyone. STAY AWAY!

It was exactly what we wanted for the three families on vacation together, great outdoor space for the kids and parents.

Ugh

Posted 20-Aug-2013
Pros: Leaving.
Cons: Make the bathroom larger, remove the mold, shampoo the carpets?
Location: This was a stop halfway on our trip. Just stayed the night.
The price seemed very reasonable and I guess that should have been my first clue. The room smelled of animal urine and my husband was afraid to take his socks off. The bathroom was very small which made it very difficult to sit on the toilet without banging into walls. The toilet seat was loose, making it feel like riding the luge when attempting to use it. You could tell that the walls in the bathroom had water damage and they painted over mold to hide it. The shower pressure was almost non-existant and the shower head had white stuff (lime?) all over it..
