“Great hotel, great location, only one moan”
We've stayed in this hotel on two different trips to Seville - which shows we definitely loved it first time. It's a clean, spacious hotel in the classic moorish layout. We love the location - it's a nice 15 min walk from the Alcazar and Giralda on quiet streets but only 2 minutes from 'hercules square'. Our only complaint? the shower flooded the bathroom floor whenever it was used because the shower doors were utterly ineffective (by design) - and this had clearly been a long term problem, but being Seville it was warm and at least the floor dried overnight.
“Does not deserve 4 stars but only 3 max”
Tiny rooms, not well maintained and lacking proper housekeeping. Sewage smells often. Most of the rooms are around a patio where people smoke all the time and the hotel management takes no action considering that the patio is an open-space for everyone to smoke, including them! no international TV channels except CNN. No fresh juices and limited choice of food for breakfast (ie.e fruits, vegetables, etc). Front desk unable to recommend decent dine-out and exhibitions options!
“We loved this hotel”
Beautiful andalucian style building, lovely position easy to walk to all major attractions. Loved the little courtyards within the hotel and the view from the roof was amazing. 24 hour coffee was a real bonus and we used it a lot. Could have improved on quality of breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would certainly stay there again.
“excellent location”
excellent location although it needs some work in finding it by car! Elegant and comfortable with helpful staff.
“very friendly and helpful”
very friendly and helpfull close to all areas and in the centre of the old area of seville
“I'd go back again”
It was about 10 minute walk to the Alcazar and the cathedral, it was a very clean hotel and very safe. We did a lot of walking altogether but I'd stay there again.
“Nice hotel, but hard to find!”
Nice hotel with helpful staff. Attractive courtyard and well-priced continental breakfast with delicious cafe con leche and wonderful fresh squeezed OJ. Rooms clean but plain. Only problem was very difficult to find even with directions and our GPS since the labyrinthine streets in that area are complicated. Luckily, after asking for help from many people, we luckily asked a tour guide who offered to lead us there since it was "muy complicado". If I return to Seville I would look for a place along a more main street.
“New World efficiency, Old World charm”
Hotel staff was extremely courteous, helpful and professional.
“Great hotel in Sevilla”
We stayed here for one night and loved it. It can be a little confusing to find as the streets around it can be difficult to navigate even with a map. The hotel is quite pretty and the rooms are large. It was a great location and within walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly and they spoke English. I highly recommend this hotel- it was great for the price.
“Very Good, Convenient Hotel”
We were looking for a hotel that could accommodate two adults and a 16 year old in the same room, which was not easy to find, and this one did quite well. We got an extra sofa bed which didn't leave the room with much extra space but we didn't really care about that, as we spent most of the time outside anyway. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, but it was available in the reception area and in the bar. This also was not a problem for us, as a lot of cafes have WI-FI (a valid option for the IPAD, but not so much if you carry a laptop around). The location was great, being that it was a walking distance (5 min) to the Cathedral. However, the hotel was located in the old part of Seville, and therefore it was very hard to navigate these streets with a car - maybe not so much for European drivers but Americans used to wide streets would definitely have trouble.Tip: No side mirrors needed.
