“Too Far”

This hotel is very nice. A conference hotel, sterile but clean. Problem is you need a taxi (7 to 8 euros each way) to get across the river into old town area. A solid 45 minute to 1 hour walk to the cathedral. I would spend the extra to stay in town.

“Outdated and isolated”

This hotel was probably some big hit in the 80's. Although some renovations were done, it is out of date and not too busy. It is a spread out building with 3 towers and our room was easily a 5 min walk from the reception. We felt isolated and alone in a big building. I asked to fix the safe in the room and nobody came. Swiming pool was ugly and dirty. It is also away from the main things to see in Sevilla. I was driving and this was a not a problem, but if you don't have a car you will always need taxi to move to old city.

Old city as it is where main things in Sevilla are.
Must see
Giralda and Cathedral. Flamenco show at Tablado El Arenal.

“Excellent value for money”

When to go
We went late January 2011 and the weather was fine, sunny and about 16C over our weekend...quite a change from -1C in London

“Five star service, five star prices”

The rooms at the Renacimiento are lovely and the hotel is beautiful, although the location means you'll be relying on taxis to get into Seville proper. Fortunately, they're not too expensive. But as with many five-star hotels you're milked like a cow on the extras. A club sandwich and fries at the pool bar was very expensive, and it took an age for anyone to come and serve us. The evening outdoor grill restaurant was very enjoyable and surprisingly reasonably-priced. Room facilities are limited because you're expected to be happy to pay for everything - no tea/coffee facilities, no ice or ice bucket. Room service required for everything.

“Praktisch hotel om in de buurt van vliegveld te slapen”

Hotel goede uitvalsbasis om de volgende ochtend snel bij het vliegveld te zijn. We zouden er nooit verblijven als vakantiehotel. Hoogtijdagen zijn voorbij en is vooral een zakenhotel. Wel een heerlijk zwembad met bedjes.

“Top Einrichtung aber Durchgangstür”

Einrichtung und Betten alles Top, doch durch die Durchgangstür zum Nachbarzimmer hellhörig. Charme eines Kongresscenters. Ruhige Lage

“Très bon standing mais loin du centre ville”

Heureusement, il y a des taxis qui attendent au pied de l'hôtel vous amenant au centre historique de Séville pour 8 euros. Au final, un très bon compromis prix/standing/proximité.

“Barcelo Renacimiento à Séville”

Très bel hôtel mais ambiance froide. Pas Espagnol du tout...très moderne. Chambre d'un grand confort et tranquille. Un peu loin de l'action du centre-ville.

Area recommendations
La Cathédrale de Séville est à voir. Immense et splendide.
