“Excellent hotel location, great staff assistance”

This hotel was really well located for all the major Seville attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the basics covered. Free internet access. Staff were excellent is providing advice and directions, as well as suggested activity ideas

“Excellent friendly welcome and customer service at the Apartments Murillo”

My wife and I and one daughter stayed in the Apartments Murillo for two weeks in early August 2012 and we had a great holiday there. The staff in the reception at the Apartments are exceptionally helpful and friendly and this really made a major contribution to the enjoyment of our holiday, we cannot praise them enough. The young man who was on duty when we arrived, and who we had most dealings with during our stay was called "Abel" and no one could have been more polite or helpful. All the other staff we met on reception, including a young lady, were also exceptional polite and genuinely friendly. They also spoke good English which was a great help with any questions we had or for any advice we needed during our stay. We cannot speak too highly of them. Our room was spotlessly clean and the situation of the Apartments must be one of the best in Seville for exploring all the sights of this beautiful city. We would highly recommend and would enjoy going back again anytime. A big thank you to "Abel" and the other staff on reception!

“Close to cathedral and alcazar”

The hotel is hard to find as everything in Seville so watch out...it can only be reached by foot. It is worth though because it is in the center of the old town (or bario santa cruz). it is beautiful and there is a kitchenette and interior courtyard. You wake up to the sound of the cathedral bells!

“Confounding to find, but worth it!”

Apartments Murillo was an excellent accomodation for our purposes. The staff person @ the desk was extremely helpful and accomodating and answered all of our questions with courtesy and patience. We were highly agitated upon arrival as we had driven to Seville from Estepona and were disoriented. The staff person took the time to draw us landmarks as to how to get to the parking space that we had reserved upon our reservation, as we had left our car in an area that was not secure, due to our confusion as to where the Apartments Murillo was located. This leads me to comment on the one drawback, which I did see in other reviews consistently: the location is incredibly difficult to find--enmeshed within the Barrio Santa Cruz. It is a virtual labyrinth to decipher....however, on the other hand, once there, it is a fabulous location--walking distance to everything, lively and energy-filled with outdoor restaurants and tapas bars. We were there during the 1st weekend of Holy Week, which is the busiest weekend of the year, and it was sheer madness all around, yet we did not experience noise or anything less than professional service.

Xlnt location and staff. The young guy working the desk was very helpful with directions. Noise from the 8 ft wide "street" below, but hey, you're in Seville, deal with it.

“Loved these apartments!”

We had a lovely stay at the Murillo Apartments. It is in a very quaint area of Seville and close to many of the attractions as well as some bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful to us and were also able to give lots of advice on where to eat, drink etc. Abel, in particular, was most helpful when my boyfriend came down with the flu and spent most of his time in Seville in bed. The only negative point that I noted was that we were in room 5, which is right by reception, which did get quite loud as people checked in and out. So I would recommend that people try not to get this room if possible

“Excellent Location!”

The hotel is located in Santa Cruz, a former Jewish quarter of the medieval city. Very central and touristy, yet the room was quiet. It is a good value for money - the apartment is spacious and modern (although some maintenance is required), with a little kitchenette. The building itself is beautiful but the rooms lack a bit in character but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is in the hotel next door, quite modest (so don't opt in for 'breakfast included' option). Overall we had a great stay in Apartments Murillo and would definitely recommend for a trip to Seville (what a beautiful city!)

“Comfortable stay”

We stayed in the new wing of the hotel and the room was comfortable and clean. However, the room is just above the automatic sliding door in the lobby below and everytime the door opens and closes, we could hear the noise and it was rather irritating. So try to stay away from that particular room. Location is great as it is in the middle of the old Jewish quarters and is close to some of the major sights.

The rooms are tasteful. The location is wonderful. The outdoor areas of the hotel are charming. I would stay here again!
