“Good service, and very convenient location.”
Other than the noise from the renovations one morning, my stay at the hotel was pretty good. The location is very good, Line 9 (National Assembly Station) is just a 5 minute walk away and there is an Airport Limo Bus service every 20 minutes. The rooms look a bit dated but at least the beds were quite comfortable and the room itself was clean. Nice, friendly, helpful staff.
“Hotel out of the 50's”
The lobby and the exterior of this hotel look relatively impressive. But don't be mislead by the modern feel of the public spaces in this hotel. Once you walk into the room, you will feel like you just walked into a 1950's movie. Everything in the bathroom is made of linoleum and plastic and it smells like still water. A lamp shade was broken in my hotel room and there is no free wi-fi in the rooms. Water is also not free.
“Very International, very nice experience”
It helped that the Lexington, out of all the very tall structures in the area, is the tallest building nearby. It made it very easy to find from the subway. It was so tall and so dark by this time, it stood out like a beacon. It is a huge building, at least 14 floors, two of them filled with restaurants. I did not go to any of them, wanting instead to try out as much Korean food as I could, but the luxury is there. It is a truly international hotel. My stay was 7 days, and in that 7 days, I saw the rooms fill up with Koreans, Americans, Chinese. and in the final few days, the place was invaded by Japanese, here to attend the annual Dream Concert. It was really a great experience to have so many different kinds of people here! The front lobby staff is always well staffed and very helpful. My room was on the 7th floor and it was a very big room and very comfortable. What was great about my room: it had a cell phone that I could have taken out to use in Korea. Though I did not use this, I found it to be such a neat idea. There is a little fridge stocked with bottled water, beverages, beer and Snickers bar? I thought the Snickers was kind of an odd choice, but its there. It had a TV with both English and Korean TV channels, but very few choices. The bed was big, the carpet was kind of old (I read a review of this before my flight, so I had it in my head to check that). There are TONS of great restaurants nearby, many open past 2am. Cool
“Great location, nice retreat, comfortable”
Busy hotel. Obviously gets a lot of traffic - both business and tourist. Easy to see why: comfortable, attentive staff, sizeable rooms. I found my room (on the 'business' floor) to be a little tired. Nevertheless, it was comfortable and quiet with a fabulous view. Breakfast buffet was pretty simple (I recommend Starbucks or The french cafe out the back of the hotel for a better breakfast ;-)) Airport shuttle stops right outside- by far the easiest and cheapest way to get to the hotel from the airport. The only downside was that their internet speed via ethernet in the rooms was dire. Definately would recommend though.
“Expedia special was a good deal!”
Good deal! Triple room with breakfast. Subway , convenient stores and places to eat right walking distance. Airport Limo pickup and dropoff right outside the front of the hotel.
“Everyone knows Lexington”
My mom and I enjoyed our stay at Lexington very much. When we arrived at our hotel at 11.30 pm, we were naturally tired and ready to go to bed. And we were so happy we got good service right from check-in. Check-in was done in less than 2 minutes! Our room was ready and everything was in perfect order! During our stay in Seoul, the hotel staff had been very helpful and are proficient in English. Why I really love this hotel is that all the taxi drivers know it. We never encountered a taxi driver who didn't understand what "Lexington Youido" is or where it is. Beautiful lobby is a plus.
“Lexington Hotel is excellent value”
The Lexington Hotel was much nicer than we expected for such an inexpensive hotel. We looked at other hotels in Seoul and they were all nearly $100-200 more per night than this hotel. I would rate this as a 3.5 star hotel. We did not use a lot of the ammenities. The lobby is very nice. The restaurants seemed nice as well. The staff was very helpful. The location is in the financial district, and their didn't seem to be a lot of shopping or things to do close by at night, but the subway is only a few blocks away and the bus is also very close. There is a beautiful park only blocks away. This is a very safe area. This hotel was everything we were looking for. The rooms were comfortable, and pretty standard (tv, chair and table, bed and dresser +bathroom). We have no complaints and would easily stay here again and highly recommend. Just behind the hotel also is a 7-eleven, dunkin donuts, Starbucks, Paris cafe, and hamburger joint amongst other things.
“ok but not great hotel”
this hotel is a little misleading. the outside and the lobby look awesome but when you get upstairs to your room...not so awesome. rooms need an update. also not everyone at the front desk spoke english. but on the bright side there is a bus that comes every 15 minutes and takes you to the airport for a cheap fare. this is great because the airport is about an hour from seoul. also the cleanest metro i've ever seen is only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. very cheap.
“Lexington Hotel Seoul”
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Hotel molto confortevole e ben posizionato. Arrivo agevole dall'areoporto con lo shuttle. Da ritornarci.
