“Very modern and clean, great service!”

I was concerned about the quality since the price was so low from Expedia, but it was fantastic! Right in the heart of the business section of Seoul, and very stylish and clean. The staff was very attentive and quick.

Area recommendations
Seoul is a huge city, so it is difficult to see it all. The palaces are interesting (but once you see one, no need to see more), and the Seoul tower was pretty neat. The best part of Seoul is experiencing the warmth and general happiness of the people. You can go anywhere at anytime and feel safe, and the people are very friendly and helpful.
Getting around
The subway system is clean, modern, and easy to figure out. It can get you anywhere in the city, so there's no need to rent a car (and you wouldn't want to anyway - they drive very chaotically!).
Must see
The DMZ and JSA tour by the USO is very interesting and sobering. It's an all day trip by bus, but it's worth it. Book it at least three weeks in advance.

“Seoul Hotels”

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Conveniently located near a subway station. A little bit far away from the main tourist attractions.

“Spacious rooms with spotless sheets and towels”

Reception crisp, bright and welcoming just like the staff. The bedroom at first was a disappointment as wardrobe and shelves dusty and furniture looked tired. However the once we settled in we really enjoyed the pristine clean bedding and towels. Having a washing machine/tumble dryer and kettle with crockery and cutlery was extremely useful. We did have one night when some young guests were very noisy, and as we could not tell which room it was we were unable to advise the receptionist. The restaurant for breakfast was handy but the food could have been hotter. Once again the staff were very friendly and helpful. The metro is nearby and the bus stop for the airport just a ten minute walk. Taxis easily hailed in front of hotel. Good value for money.

Area recommendations
Insadong area is great for shopping. However our sole purpose was to visit our son, daughter-in-law and our darling grand daughter. We enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the city Seoul and the residential part as well. The city tour would be recommended in order to find your bearings. The Korean people are very friendly and do try to help. Always take a phrase book wherever you go.

“Excellent hotel for the price and neighborhood”

A nice hotel with very comfortable and clean room (about 30 sq.meter), with a small kitchen and refrigerator. Excellent location, close to several convenience stores, bakeries, restaurants, etc. and about 200 m from the subway station. The price is also excellent.

“Very confortable but a bit noisy”

A service appartment rather than an hotel. Excellent bed. Very nice space in the room. But near a big road that can sometimes be noisy. Also, no real hall and difficult for business meetings. Can be quite good for a non-business person who doesn't care that much about road noise (which is not that terrible). If you are lucky enough to be on the opposite side of the main road, then it's a quite good place. Staff really doesn't speak well English. But they are somewhat helpful.

Nearest place for shopping is Gangnam. 10 to 12 min' walk. Or 1 subway station.

“Great place if you can speak the language.”

It's like a studio size residential inn. Anything you need you can get at the convenient store which is 30 meters away.　But I hope you're fluent in the Korean language. Of course the hotel person can speak English enough to check you in, and they are friendly to help you out. However, ask something complicated(like you would ask a concierge）　and you will get "lost in translation". Also there are a lot of local restaurants with great delicacies within walking distance from the hotel, but be sure you can read and speak Korean.

“Recommended place for your stay in Seoul”

Very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. A little far off from the main tourist attractions, but very conveniently located in walking distance from Korea National University of Education the subway station. An ideal place for business visits and longer stays.

“Great location”

Provista was a great hotel. The room was spacious. The small kitchen and large fridge was great to store snacks. It is located a few blocks from the subway. There are lots of restaurants within a five block radius. Would definitely stay here again.

Get korean won at the airport or exchange at hotel. Local banks do not take international ATM cards.

“Provista Hotel is Okay!”

The hotel receptionists are very helpful in giving us directions to taxis and one receptionist clean our toilet because it clogs up but they fix it immediately. I am gretful with that person.(he is a nighttime receptionist). It is a big hotel and plenty of space and you can clean your clothes and dry it because it has a washing machine and dryer as well. The only thing the thermostat is so hot we have to open the window.

plenty of restaurants, shopping, cafes, and close to the city. Right next door the outback steakhouse.

“長期滞在したいホテル”

他のホテルが満室でこちらを選びました。料金がoffになっていたので宿泊できたという感じで韓国リピーターには少し高い料金かも。でもお部屋はとっても良かったです。キッチンが付いていて便利だし、ロフトがあるので天井が高く、広々とした感じのお部屋です。江南方面の観光も地下鉄ですぐ行けるし、まわりにはお店も たくさんあります。近くには銀行もいくつかあるし、私が利用したハナ銀行には日本語が話せるとても感じのいい綺麗な行員さんがいらっしゃいます。 ホテルの受付の女性も感じがいいです。日本語は通じないかも？ もう少し料金が安ければ長期滞在したいですね〜。

アックジョンや新沙。 地下鉄で行けるので、ショッピングやカフェめぐりにいいかも。 江南駅地下ショッピングセンター。 綺麗になっていました。 あまり大きくない地下街ですが、 同じ洋服が東大門より安くてびっくりしました。 江南ターミナル地下ショッピングセンターはとても大きいようですが、 2012年の春頃まで工事のようですね。

空港からリムジンバス６０２０に乗って、ジヌンアパート下車。 戻る方向へ数十m歩くとあります。 地下鉄教大駅からも徒歩３分くらい。
