“Very convenient location to reach elsewhere and Excellent services”
Everything was ok except for an assignment of room for single person. I've reserved a single bed room through Expedia however, the hotel provided a twin bed when I check-in and informed me that confirmation from Expedia doesn't specify Single or Twin even the customer selected preferred one. Expedia needs to clarify it in future and convey the same requirement to the hotel.
“Nice hotel, but too warm”
Nice hotel, good location but controling the temperature in your room is near impossible. Because it was winter in Seoul, the temperature in your room is high. Even if you set the temp in your room to the lowest possible temperature, it is still too warm to sleep. You can't open the windows.... Breakfast buffet is very good, service is great, bar is nice - as long as you're not in the smoking section.
“Comfortable But Dated”
Intercontinental COEX is very convenient for access to the COEX convention center. While quiet and comfortable, the hotel has not been updated for a while and is beginning to show its age. Recommended for those with convention business. For other business in Korea there are better choices.
“Ruins you for all other hotels”
I spend 50 nights a year in a hotel room so I know what I am talking about when I say that this is my favorite business hotel in the whole world. Great location, great service, great rooms and phenomenal breakfast buffet. The service - from the front desk to the bell hops to the maids - is exemplary.
“Would stay again”
Nice hotel for a good price-holiday inn-type
“Great hotel, good price, fantastic location.”
COEX Intercontinental is connected to the COEX mall which is a great place to hang out. Tons of shopping, food, aquarium, little museums, giant movie theatre and great looking people. Its in a very hip part of the city and not to far from other great places such as Opkujung and Kangnam Station.
“Very impressed with the price we paid.”
My husband & I upgraded to business room since it was part of his business trip. We loved the buffet breakfast and the spa facility was excellent. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use the gym or the indoor pool. Not enough time because there are so many things to see and explore around the hotel. There is COEX mall under the hotel and a department store right next to it. There's a subway station by the hotel and so many good foods even outside of the hotel around the area. Most people were very friendly except don't ask questions to the concierge lady. She didn't seem to know what she was doing. My husband wanted me to get my hair done before the dinner party and she didn't know where to send us. So she called the front desk person to ask and they sent me to the most expensive hair salon in Seoul ( later I found out) And she didn't really wanted to help us how to get there - we had to ask several times - because we wanted to take subway to Kang Nam ( where the hair salon is) They emptied our pockets and didn't get the service that was promised. Besides, the Concierge Desk staff, we were very happy with our stay overall.
“Good hotel but distance from the subway”
The hotel is very professional but one of those in which you have to pay for everything like web, breakfast, etc... That's not unusual these days with 5 sta hotels but this hotel does not have a bus that takes people directly to the door. The hotel bus drops off at the bus terminal which is a little distance from the hotel. But the little secret is that you can get a free taxi voucher at the info desk at the bus terminal and the taxi ride is on the hotel. But this infomation is in small print on a sign at the terminal and hidden by the escalators. I remember lugging my baggage there last time I was there.
“Good hotel”
Stayed for 2 nights, never used this hotel before, but I would go back. Extremely helpfull staff and the food served very good. Also some decent shops nearby if you need to buy anything.
“a good hotel”
it's centrally located in the middle of downtown seoul. a duty free shop is located just an escalator away, as is a sprawling underground mall. facilities are excellent, especially the well equipped gym and sauna. definitely value for money and worth staying at.
