“Good place”

It does the job, you get the star rating advertised. I reserve with expedia, they didn't need my credit card once there.

“Decent Business Hotel”

The Ellui is in a neighborhod of restaurants, which makes it convenient in the evening, although English is not always spoken at the various establishments. The hotel is a quick ride from the KCAT, with a free shuttle bus that can be arranged on the first floor of the KCAT once you arrive from the airport. Unfortunately, there are only two morning shuttles back to the KCAT for your trip to the hotel, which is a bit inconvenient. The hotel itself was neat and clean, and the rooms were good sized. I had a heater that was very difficult to control, and turning it off still lead to a very warm room, which wasn't a disaster, but was less than ideal. There are breakfast options available, but is it a bit pricy. Overall, there is not much to complain about, and I would stay there again.

“Quiet hotel in good area”

Rooms are clean, quiet, in an excellent area very near Coex. Plenty of restaurants of all kinds nearby and convenience store almost next door. As with most hotels, skip the restaurant there. Decor is somewhat dated but in good condition. Staff is very helpful. I would recommend two things: 1) If you need a taxi walk out the side of the hotel away from the river and hail a cab. The doorman will only get you a "luxury taxi" (any taxi that is black) from the queue. Regular cabs are about 40% cheaper. 2) Unless you speak Korean, get a card from the hotel with the address written in Korean so you can give it to the driver for the return trip. We had some minor difficulty with this since cabbies were all unfamiliar with the location and name of the hotel. (Seoul is a HUGE city). I wish it was slightly closer to the subway. A 10 minute walk if the traffic lights are with you and you walk fast. They have a limited free shuttle in the morning. Internet is not free in the room but there are 2 computers in the lobby that are free for guests. I was able to get free wireless (weak signal) in an 11th floor room on the river side from IPTime, which seems to blanket much of the city.

“Nice place”

Clean, bed was a little hard, and you could tell it was built in the 80's for the Olympics but over all it was a good deal and fairly close to a subway stop.

部屋は清潔で広いしバスタブもゆったりで快適です。 地下鉄の駅からもう少し近いとまた利用したいと思うのですが… 歯ブラシ、シャンプー,リンスは有料ですので持参下さい。

“訪韓頻度、上級者向け”

明洞などの繁華街や、文化遺産などが多くある江北地域からは少々遠かったですが、江南エリアを散策するには良いと思います。 しかし、こちらのホテルを利用するには、バスに乗れる程度のハングルが読めて、少し言葉が話せたら（このバスが自分の行きたい所に行くか、と聞けるぐらい）、近くのバス停留所からいろんな所に行けますよ。 近くに食事出来る所もあるし、帰ホテルが連日遅かったですが、女性一人でも安心でした。 週末は上階にあるクラブでイベントがあるのか、クラブの入口付近は人が賑わっていましたが、道端で騒いでる人達はいなかったので良かったです。 ただ、部屋の中にいても、クラブで流れている音楽のベース音が聞こえて来ました。
