“A little bit out of the way”

Even though the hotel is in the middle of various tourist sites, it still requires quite a distance for walking, It is located in a commercial zone so late at night, it looked pretty much abandoned. The price for eating at the hotel is quite expensive for the average quality of food. I would suggest that the hotel should include the breakfast buffet in their room rate since there is no restaurant nearby to get something to eat except a convenient store next door.

“For business is ok rather than sight seen”

We went to Seoul for sight seen. We tried to find the hotel in Myoung dong area but no found due to top season. The hotel was fine. There is no problem on facility and service. The location is the only concerned for us but it should fine for business people.

“Nice stay but could be improved”

Bedroom : new & ok. Enough space & lighting to work. Internet works well. Rooms near the elevator are slightly noisy (although still acceptable). During winter season, bedrooms are over heated without any possibility to turn off or lower down the temperature (system blocked within a pre-set temperature range). A major drawback. Beds : somehow too hard (but very often the case in Seoul). Lunch buffet : ok. Subway station just nearby (direct to the Airports) : very convenient.

When to go
Better avoid the winter season that can be freezing cold. Plus lots of hotels rooms are over-heated. Spring / autumn : best seasons

“Great location heart of Seoul”

If you want a clean hotel in a great location close to the bustling city center, this is the hotel for you. The only disappointing part was the breakfast was a strange amalgam of a Korean interpretation of western style food. I've seen better.

“We would definitely stay here again!”

Hotel was great. The location was half a block away from the subway which was very convenient. There was not really anything to do immediately outside of the hotel. The hotel staff was amazing and the restaurant had great food at great prices!

“Real Seoul”

Visiting our daughter teaching English. Kukdo was near many sites easily accessed by subway, walking or taxi. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The brunch was a nice way to start our day. The rooms were lovely and well kept. We enjoyed wandering the nearby streets and small stores. Very interesting. Would recommend it highly for a true Seoul inner city experience.

Insadong for shopping, the nearby Temple and Folk Museum were great.

“Best Western Premier Hotel Kukdo a Seoul, buona scelta”

L'hotel si trova in una buona posizione, quasi centrale rispetto alla maggior parte delle attrazioni turistiche della città, ed è un ottimo compromesso qualità-prezzo. La metro ferma a trenta metri dall'ingresso e l'autobus dall'aeroporto proprio davanti. Gwanghamun è a un paio di chilometri e volendo ci si può andare tranquillamente a piedi. Io stesso l'ho fatto più di una volta, ci vogliono una ventina di minuti. Le camere sono molto belle e dotate di ogni comfort, secondo la consuetudine in oriente. Collegamento internet gratuito in ogni camera. Per qualunque necessità, sotto all'hotel c'è un Family Mart aperto fino a tarda notte e peraltro la zona ne è piena. Del ristorante non so, non ci ho mai pranzato né cenato, mi è solo sembrato un po' freddo. Unico contro, volendolo cercare, è che Euljiro 4-ga, dove si trova l'hotel, non è di per sé una zona particolarmente viva alla sera. Son quasi tutti piccoli negozi locali, per cui dopo le 20 è praticamente tutto chiuso e non ci si mangia. Il che significa, se non ci si vuol chiudere in albergo prima, cena fuori altrove in Seoul e rientro a tarda sera,. Logisticamente, se non si vuole passare tutta la giornata in giro, non è il massimo della comodità, perché rientrare in albergo vuol comunque dire, in generale, prendere la metro e doverla poi riprendere per uscire di nuovo. Scegliendo di cenare in albergo, viceversa, si perde un po' la possibilità di un dopo cena a passeggio per la Seoul notturna, che è particolarmente viva.

Area recommendations
Da un punto di vista turistico probabilmente il distretto migliore per soggiornare è Gwanghamun, in particolare attorno ad Insadong. E' centrale rispetto a quasi tutto quello che conta a Seoul, ed è a due passi ad esempio da Myeong-dong, molto viva alla sera.

“部屋は綺麗！”

出張で利用させていただきました。私の準備不足で電源コネクタ変換器を忘れていったため、フロントにお願いしたら、すぐに準備してくれました。近くにファミリーマートもあって、その点は便利でした。
