Just returned last week from my 3 rd stay at the Sudamala Villas this year. It just gets better each time. Gustie and his staff are just great, Lily, Rudi, Dewi, Rusmardi and the others, too many to list. Very welcoming and very helpful. Their command of the English language is excellent. 30 minutes after arriving for my first visit, I told Lily I would be back with my daughters later in the year, I just loved the place. I brought them up in October, with my granddaughter (2yrs) and they just loved the place too. I went back last week for my birthday, and again the staff we great, plus a couple of special birthday surprises.
The hotel location just north of Senggigi (the nearest town and restaurants) is convenient, 5 min ride in taxi $2. The Gilli Islands and other site seeing activities ( Mt Rinjani and water falls) are also located not too far away.
I have stayed in both Garden View and Sunset rooms and would recommended both equally. The rooms are bright, spacious and clean and no great walking distance to the restaurant or pool. Sipping happy hour cocktails right on the beach front overlooking Mt Agung in Bali is beautiful at sunset.
I will be returning to Lombok again next year with my daughters and will definitely stay again at the Sudamala Villas with my new family of friends.
Nice pool but only available 7am till 7pm. We originally got a room that smelled like the wood floors were recently stained but once we asked to change rooms we had a free upgrade and the new room was great. Staff very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was awesome. Great location, would definitely recommend.
Perfect Perfect Perfect - What a gem. I've never been one for "I must come back here" and certainly never one of those people who go to the same place every year for the last 20 years, however........ I think I have just found the place that I will not only return to but return a number of times.
Stayed 4 nights. What a beautifully built hotel, spacious rooms and very spacious outdoor shower. Very clean, tidied daily. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Loved the fruit basket and welcome drink on arrival. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful pool and dinning area. Food was really good (especially dinner!).
Only complaints are the king size bed is two singles pushed together (not comfortable if you want to hog the bed), and the area around the pool is limited to 6 lounge chairs which fills up quickly.
It is a very lovely stay here for honeymoon..staff so friendly and they even surprise us with a honeymoon cake..the vila with private pool was beautiful with nice scenery and the bed was very comfy...just the resort was quite far from the senggigi town area had to travel around 3km to find shop and restaurant.
We stayed at kebun villas & resort twice during our recent stay in Lombok. As we are late risers I was wanting somewhere quiet but still central & kebun was absolutely perfect. Unlike other hotels or villas nearby there is no mosque too close so no 5am call to prayer!! The staff were magnificent including putra & Gina at the front desk & Mila & the other trainee on the breakfast crew (his name means sky in bahasa) . The location is amazing, the rooms are outstanding but it is the staff that send this from 5 stars to memorable. We would have no hesitation in recommending & are very keen to go back real soon

We (my wife, 2 year-old daughter, & myself) stayed 7 nights at this resort in Jan07, initially booking the 2 bedroom family apartment. These apartments are very large in size but are on the other side of the road from the resort & sea, though this only a 3 minute walk. I believe our particular unit was the closest to the neighbourhood mosque and thus in earshot of the call to prayer, the first of which occurs at 4:30am and loud enough to wake a light sleeper. This and a faulty air conditioner the day after arrival led us to request a change in room. The staff were very accommodating and, as no suitable family apartments were vacant, gave us two connecting deluxe rooms with seaview ... very nice and comfortable. It is a beautiful view across the sea to Bali and its volcano. The weather was fantastic, the pool great both for adult and child, and the staff extremely friendly. The on-site spa was very nice and running discount prices for their messages during out stay.
This hotel was pure luxury, from being welcomed with a drink in a pineapple to our free upgrades and drinks and nibbles in the presidential suite we were treated like kings. Great start to the hotel and unfortunately set the bar very high for the rest of the hotels we stayed at along the trip.
