Just needing a few tweaks...
Had a very nice time. They offer a very clean facility with friendly staff. Great food and a nice bar. Maybe because it's November, but, they had no entertainment at least in the weekend. The hotel was busy but the town was sleepy. Also, went back to the hotel at 6 pm to find housekeeping still cleaning the room. Hardwood floors allowed one to hear the footsteps on the upper floors. Otherwise, I would still go back to the hotel. Their beds are so comfortable!

Great Hotel at a very reasonable price
This is a excellent hotel at the far end of Seneca lake - one of upstate New York's Lakes. The only minor problem was the Bathroom sink stopper did not work. The rooms were spacious and well taken care of. The price was stunningly low. The staff was warm and helpful. The hotel gets my highest recommendations !!!

This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at while traveling for work. It is clean, quiet and very comfortable. Restaurant prices are a little high I feel, but the food is excellent! I will be staying again when I'm in town!

Very nice hotel.
Hotel was clean and staff were polite and helpful. Coffee in the hallway every morning was welcome and good quality. Rooms were very comfortable and we'll decorated and ours had a balcony with a great view of the lake. Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Would stay again.

Beautiful hotel walking distance to every thing in downtown Watkins Glen and Watkins Glen State Park. Hotel restaurant was pricey but food was good. Plenty of reasonable places to eat a short walk away. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom was very luxurious. HIghly recommend.

Great hotel in the Finger Lakes
The hotel is very bright, clean and large rooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had breakfast on the patio and it was fantastic food. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay and it is situated by the water with nice views. Would highly recommend it.

Wonderful Hotel in a Great Location
The hotel is in a beautiful setting, it is immaculately clean, the rooms are very comfortable. Additionally, they have a whole bunch of "extra's" which are very noticeable, i.e coffee in the hallway in the a.m., towels folded in wonderful ways, beds turned down at nite with chocolates on the pillows.

Great spot to relax on the way to a week of work
My wife and I stopped in for one night as a stopover on our way driving from the Philadelphia area to Toronto. We had the opportunity to walk the streets as well as the Gorge. The hotel bar and restaurant atmosphere was so pleasent that, after sitting by the fire pit with a drink, we decided to eat dinner there. I NEVER eat in the hotel, as I really enjoy getting out and experimenting with the local cuisine. Anyway, the dinner was delicious, we enjoyed a long comfortable sleep, and departed rested the next day. I wish we had the opportunity to stay on at the Harbor Hotel as a starting point for a few days of winery visits.

Lovely view of the lake. Quiet, except that the floors are faux hardwood and you could hear people walking in adjoining rooms. Staff was great, rooms immaculate, bed very comfortable. Stayed 2 nights. Would recommend it to friends and family.

The Most Upscale Hotel in a Small City we have exp
The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is an upscale modern facility with decorator touches throughout. Upon entering the restaurant and bar areas are fashionable treated with polished hardwoods, the hallways are a bright modern palate. The rooms are spacious, I repeat spacious. Comfortable, king-sized beds, a walk-in shower, oversize hang up closet, desk and large couch. We were late booking and did not get the Lake view…for the romantics this is a must. The bathroom has dramatic decorator lighting, as with the adjacent make-up area. The large shower had a hand-held removable wand, but lacked water pressure. WiFi is avalable, but low speed and buggy. Being on a fixed budget, we did not eat in the restaurant. However we found a gem in the “Coldwater Bar.” Our bartender, Adam, was knowledgeable and friendly. He even helped first time tourists customize their drinks to their preference. The bar menu was limited, but within budget. The hamburger I ordered might have been the biggest and best prepared I’ve had in 20 years. The rooms are a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

Beautiful location on Seneca Lake.
Lovely hotel located in Watkins Glen, on the shore of Seneca Lake. We used this as our home base while we explored the wineries in the area. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful Getaway
The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was a wonderful 2-day getaway. It is in a beautiful area with a lovely town and situated right on Lake Seneca. The view was beautiful, especially from the room. The hotel is lovely; very new & very well maintained. The grounds are just as lovely. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the dining was excellent too. There is a lot to do in the area with many wineries to visit, and the Watkins Glen State Park right down the road. The park is a day trip in itself with (19) waterfalls to view hiking up the side of a mountain. All in all, a wonderful retreat away from home.

This hotel was well-worth the money. We had a beautiful large room with a large bathroom featuring a walk-in shower stall. We also had a balcony with an amazing view of the harbor and Seneca Lake. Very clean room and excellent customer service.

romantic weekend getaway
This was a romantic weekend getaway with my husband. The hotel was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The staff was very perfessional and helpful. The room was gorgeous. A bit pricey, but for a once in awhile TREAT to yourself, it's well worth it. I would love to go back in the fall. The view of Seneca Lake was awesome!

The rooms are clean and well decorated. The bedding is SO comfortable. I could have spent my entire trip just lounging in the room watching tv and drinking Finger Lakes wine! But we didn't...we also enjoyed the Ice Bar event and the wonderful food and The Blue Point Grille.

Weekend getaway
Weekend stay to visit wineries and surrounding area. The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, and turn down service with chocolates! Very impressed and would highly recommend for any stay. Guests were very impressed with their stay.

Perfect basecamp for wine-tasting!
My wife and I stayed 2 nights and loved the whole experience at WGHH. The concierge was efficient, selecting and taking care of reservations for us while we were out to Hammondsport wine tasting. The Blue Point Grille is a bit crowded and noisy...but that is because it is soooo good. Very popular. Our entrees were spot-on and the service was terrific. Large room, very comfortable and clean. We loved the sea-side motif, the colors and the hardwood floors; made it seem more like a special resort than a hotel. Be sure to get the harbor view: Lots of boating and pretty vistas to enjoy.

Have stayed twice (2009 and 2011) for my wife's birthday. We stayed in the Commodore Suite one year and the Admiral the next time. BEAUTIFUL HOTEL!!
We stay in latter March, so the town is quiet during the cooler season. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very courteous and helpful. We do dine at Jerlando's down the road (nothing against the hotel food, we just really LOVE Jerlando's Italian cuisine). The bar at the hotel is excellent as well. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a luxury hotel with all of the perks without having to drive to NYC or some such place. We have every intention of returning every year for my wife's birthday. We would come for mine too, but it's in early August and the town is a bit crowded at that time of the year (NASCAR). Tremendous views of the lake and a nice little movie theater in town make for great perks also.

Overnight for wine getaway.
Great for couples and an awesome view on the lake side of the hotel. Very cool shower. Try the restaurant downstairs for breakfast it's really good. We didn't really see much of the staff which was nice. An interesting event was when after we got back from dinner the staff had come into the room and gave chocolates on the pillow and turned on smooth jazz on the TV.

The Watkins Glen Harbor is essentially brand new. The hotel is extremely clean, the beds are great and the facility is truly smoke free. Rooms have tile and hardwood on the floor rather than wall to wall carpeting, which provides a much cleaner feeling, not to mention fewer dust mites. The staff is very friendly and solicitous. The food was delicious as well. There isn't much to do right in the town but if you are interested in the lake, hiking or the race track or just enjoying the wonderful hotel, you will be all seet!

Harbor Hotel
Excellent, although a large unruley wedding Saturday nite marred the experience. Hotel is fabulous, as is their staff. Expedia messed up the reservation, but the hotel did their best to make it up to us. We will definately return

The quality of our room was way above what we expected, especially for the price. We loved the his & hers bath robes and the jacuzzi in the bathroom. We had never used one before. The hotel staff were very professional and friendly - they acted as if they really enjoyed working there. The room was very quiet and the beds very comfortable - got the best nights sleep that I have had in a long time. We also liked having a refrigerator in the room. This hotel was perfect for our second honeymoon.

We came ten minutes for four, but the room was not ready yet so they asked us to wait. The room was beautiful, the bathroom clean with a fantastic shower. We had a room on the city-site and that was a problem because the whole night we heard the noise of the airco of the restaurant.

A very nice hotel indeed.
The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was extremely nice. The staff was friendlly and helpful. The location at the marina at Seneca Lake was beautiful. The restaurant and bar had excellent food. The rooms were large, nicely appointed, and very clean. What more can be said? I highly recommend the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. Can't wait to go back and drive the track again, too!

Very nice place to stay.
The hotel was clean and very nicely decorated, but I waited too long to book my reservation and felt that as a result I over-paid. The food in the hotel restaurant was outstanding! I didn't like that you had to walk through the lobby in order to get to the pool, but everyone was very friendly. I would stay again, but book well in advance..
