Old hotel in need of TLC
Old style french Hotel close to the beach at Fecamp. Ideal base for exploring the town however it was in need of a bit of smartening up. Staircase could have come outbof a Maigret film set. Good location to explore Fecamp and the Abbey. The young man who seemed to becrunning it single hsndedly was very helpful and personable.

Decent value for the money
The hotel is well-situated and the staff is friendly. There is no elevator so one must haul bags up steep stairs. The breakfast is not worth 9 euro per person. The nice bar off the lobby is unfortunately closed. The price of the room was good value for the money and there was plenty of space, with a decent bathroom and a window overlooking the sea.

Got a terrible room on the ground level, right next to the restaurant, with the window opening right onto the sidewalk. Had to keep the window and blinds closed the entire time. Otherwise room cleanliness and bed comfort was ok, but they should at least offer a discount for this subpar room, or not offer it at all.

Fecamp is a lovely place but don't recommend this
On arrival told it was not suitable to park in their car park. Only room for 2 cars and it's €10 per night. Had to park on road. The receptionist made it plain she did not like the hotels.com prices and we had to show our email. Wifi was rubbish. Having been out for meal got back at 8.40 to be told by another receptionist that we couldn't have a drink in the residents lounge as she was busy

Bonjour Monsieur, Nous avons pris en compte vos observations. Nous pensons qu'il y a eu mauvaise compréhension de la part du personnel réceptionniste. Sachez que des sanctions seront appliquées à l'encontre du personnel concerné. Bien à vous Le gérant

Quaint Hotel on the Coast
The hotel is rather basic, but a good place to stay the night. The decorations are very dated, and there is no air conditioning, but that doesn't matter. The breeze off the sea makes for perfect a/c. The breakfast is pretty decent, but don't count on any parking being available. The room was nice but dated, although it had a huge, newer bathroom that must have been renovated recently. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a night or two on a trip down the coast of France! At least 1 staff member spoke English.

Nice hotel near the beach. Our balcony had plrasant ocean view. Helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast of the typical breads and pastry.

Hotel almost on the sea front
Somewhat dilapidated feel and atmosphere on arrival, not helped by security pad on the front door and pokey reception area. All passages and stairways on timer switch. No lift and no fire escapes other than main staircase. Room spartan and shower/w.c miniscule. Had planned to stay for two nights, but left after one. Not good value for money.

Decent hotel near beach, dining and famed cliffs
This is an older hotel with some charm. It is one block from the beach and some rooms have a bit of a view. However, there is no elevator, so if you're on a high floor, you'd hope to have packed lightly or be strong. Staff is efficient and breakfast is adequate but short of the "spreads" encountered elsewhere. We found it a fit for our needs and a decent value.

A fine place to stay in Fecamp, FR
The hotel was in a great location. It's just a block up from the beautiful rocky beaches of Fecamp and very close to the town's center and major attractions. My only complaint was that the room smelled a little moldy. But the proprietress was pleasant, willing to speak French with my husband, who really wanted to work on his language skills, but also had no problem speaking English with me. Also, the Creperie downstairs was wonderful.

Séjour Correct. Petit bémol sur les équipements (Porte de douche qui ne ferme pas, télécommande sans piles) et les murs pas très épais (nous pouvions entendre la conversation de notre voisin de chambre). Localisation top, personnel sympatique.

Nada me gustó ya que las habitaciones son antiguas, heramos 3 parejas y ninguna habitación era como la que presentan en la web, son pequeñas, tienen manta en la cama, y los baños están antiguos, al margen de un olor a especias repugnante cuando entra en el hotel!!!! la persona de recepción muy antipática

Katastrophe!
Eine katastrophale Unterkunft! Und das bei dem Preis! Gebucht hatte ich 2 Superior DZ zur Einzelnutzung! Bekommen haben wir ein Dz, das in etwa dem entsprach, sowie ein langgezogenes Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Einzelbett. Die Bettdecke bestand aus einem Laken und einer Polyacryldecke darauf. Die Betten tagsüber mit einer Tagesdecke versehen. Steckdosen gab es ganze drei; im Bad keine einzige. Die Duschvorrichtung in der Badewanne einfach nur primitiv. Länger gewachsene Menschen haben Schwierigkeit beim Duschen(siehe Fotos) Beim Auschecken wollte man mir einen höheren Preis berechnen als in den Buchungsunterlagen verzeichnet. Der Gipfel: für das DZ der zweiten Personen meinte man grosszügig eine Reduktion einzuräumen, weil es kleiner gewesen sei, als vorgesehen. Und dennoch lag er höher, als in den Buchungsunterlagen verzeichnet. - Ich beglich die Rechnung nur mit dem ursprünglich vorgesehenen Betrag. Das Haus selbst bedarf einer grundlegenden Renovierung. Alles ziemlich mit einer heruntergekommenen Patina versehen.
