Le Parc d'Eden is located in a picturesque village just 15 min away from the airport. The building is like a medieval castle, the decor is unique. It's not your typical hotel, it offers the atmosphere of a home. The feeling of a home only increases when you learned it's family owned and operated. The owners take great pride in their place.
There is a restaurant by the hotel and the cuisine is exceptional. The restaurant is favored by the locals. And it says a lot about its quality.
The rooms are two story, loft style with the old log serving as beam. It gives the room rustic touch and feel. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is contemporary.
The hotel is in park like settings, it is a real Parc de Eden. I would highly recommend the place.
Probably the best small hotel I have stayed in in the last two years. Situated in the heart of a medieval town surrounded by history, this hotel is bristling with all the very latest in hotel comfort. It has it's own secure car park and the staff are multi lingual and seem to that extra mile to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Within a five minute walk there are various restaurants to suit most diners.
Bearing in mind I paid £550 for flights and hotel for 2 adults and 2 kids in Oct half term, I wasn't expecting luxury when we arrived and anticipated that the hotel wouldn't be as nice as their website photos depicted it to be. I was very pleasantly surprised and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Luxury for the price.
Very clean, very nice décor & facilities, pleasant staff who automatically spoke English when detecting my poor French (!) and they were helpful. Room was an average size - a little cramped when sofa bed was being used for kiddies but that was ok, small fridge, safe, etc. Breakfast was lovely; cereals, breads & pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurts, fruit salads, cooked foods eg scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and plenty of variety of drinks aswell. Restaurant served decent food in evening that wouldn't break the bank.
The hotel is situated off the main motorway out of Paris to Marnee Valee where Eurodisney is situated (ony 15 mins drive away) therefore not really the type of hotel you would choose if you wanted to take a scenic walk around it. There is a bus stop about 50 metres away from it but we didn't use it so no idea whether the buses run frequently. Only book if you're definitely hiring a car.
From Paris CDG airport this was fantastically situated - straight down the A104 for about 25 mins - very easy to find hotel. Again, another really easy drive to Eurodisney appr 15 mins.
Excellent hotel staff, very friendly and competent English speakers. Room and hotel public areas were clean and well maintained. Hotel food was very good. We were able to order a meal in the restaurant at 9pm and didn't feel rushed to finish.
The receptionists were excellent in helping to choose the appropriate rail ticket for hopping around Paris, which was the Mobiles, about four Euros cheaper than the Paris Viste.
Rooms had air conditioning, tea and coffee, and HD TV(only BBC World News) was in English, but you don't go on a trip to watch TV. Plenty of free parking, railway station about 15-20 minutes away.
Excellent shopping mall near called Bry 2.
A nice hotel in a pleasant town. However we had hoped to find some better quality restaurants in the town. The hotel restaurant was perfectly OK, if not upmarket. It was more of a business hotel than a tourist one. There was a nice market on Friday morning.
We were taken aback. The grounds from the car park to the hotel were neglected. In our "annex"wing room, the toilet roll sat on the floor - a broken holder, drains were blocked, an unsealed gap in the shower, between tiles and floor was disconcerting, and half a drawer bottom in an antique bedside table was a surprising. The receptionist hadn't checked on-line bookings and was not expecting guests.
We arrived in the early hrs of the morning and the staff were very welcoming. They took great detail in explaining all the extras that were available. The rooms were ideal as a base as we were out sight seeing during the day. There's a lovely little Patisserie / cafe on the corner that opened early and closed late evening .A little tip for visiting Disney. The bus stops are always full so jump on the bus going TO !!! the bus station and stay on . The bus turns round back to the full bus stops / crowds and you have already got your self a seat on a what will be a full bus :-) The only thing I was disappointed with was that both of the treadmills were broken .
